Sunset Cottage on Mirror Lake is a cozy, four-season retreat with lake access—part of a 10-cottage property with a dock, swim platform, picnic area, and fire pit. Enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. Stunning fall foliage. Two ski resorts within 30 minutes. Experience is "upscale rustic." This is our personal retreat: enjoy Japanese knives for cooking, quality bath towels, and an outdoors-focused library of books and board games. 1 dog considered case-by-case. The space Sunset is a completely renovated 400-square-foot (37 m2) cottage with one bedroom. The bathroom has a shower with two luxurious adjustable pattern shower heads, shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers, towels, and a hairdryer. The living room has a queen-sized sofa bed and 43" TV. High-speed internet and the streaming app Netflix is provided. The kitchen boasts a new gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and tea kettle. A convertible, pullout table enables dining (or board games!) for four. The loft is the perfect hangout space featuring a TV, board games, and a convertible floor sofa which can be adjusted to serve as a chaise lounge. The screened-in front porch with hanging swing is the ideal spot to read or enjoy your morning coffee. The outside deck features seating for four and is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. - Or head down to the community fire pit for after dinner s'mores and listen to the loons on the lake! The cottage has air conditioning, heat, and a gas stove fireplace. Are you traveling with extended family or friends? Check-out: 11 AM **Water access vs. waterfront** We do NOT claim to be a waterfront property. The cottage itself is "water access" - a very short walk, with photos to accurately illustrate. We hope the experience feels waterfront when you're sitting in the Adirondack chairs, fishing, or kayaking. **Early/late checkout** Sunset's cleaner needs time to prepare for guests between rentals and we may not be able to accommodate flexibility beyond stated check-in/check-out times, or it may be possible with an extra fee. **Pets** Outside of summer months, pets (one dog) are considered on a case-by-case basis (size, breed, shed factor, training) and are subject to an additional $30 fee. Dogs MUST be leashed at all times while on the property. **Parking** Two parking spot are included. **Winter** The driveway is difficult in snow and ice. If significant snow or ice is expected during your arrival or stay, you will need 4-wheel drive and snow chains.
