The space We share our unique 11-acre property year-round. Built on a hillside with beautiful views overlooking Christoval and the hill country. Over 200 oak trees, rock ledges, abundant wildlife, birds and dark stary nights. Awesome limestone block building with covered parking for one vehicle. Unique decor, comfortable bedding, spacious dressing/bath, walk in shower, luggage table, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee bar. Binoculars provided to use while sitting on your private patio or walking the property. Enjoy the beautiful views, watching wildlife and birds at the game feeder. Spring: First of March, hummingbirds arrive, bluebonnets and wildflowers bloom on property into April. Small town activities, outdoor music concerts and river activities. Property pool opens mid-April. Summer: Swimming on property, small town activities, Monarch butterflies arrive and fall foliage. Pool closes end of September. Winter: Hunting season opens in the area. Hunters welcome for lodging. Guest access Guests are welcome to walk and explore the beauty of entire property. Enjoy the wildlife, birds, flowers, trees, search for arrowheads and fossils. Comfortable walking shoes recommended. Bring your kayak and fishing pole! River access is only 2 miles from property. Bring extra outdoor seating for river and pool. You will cross the South Concho River on the way to property. It is a public river access there. Beautiful for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Public access to river also in town at Puge Park. Enjoy swimming and a long, beautiful kayak trip up the river. Other things to note WARNING: There is only one way in out of our property from Highway 277. On Mineral Wells Rd, you have to cross over the South Concho River on a one lane, low water crossing bridge. It rarely happens, but if there is heavy rain in the area, the bridge can flood and there is no way in or out of property. Please check our weather conditions. If there is any concern, please contact us. If bridge is flooded and closed on your arrival date, contact Airbnb. There is usually ample time to decide to leave property unless hard rain over night. River will reside anywhere from a few hours, to several days. If you can't leave property, you will not be charged for additional lodging, past, your reserved time. Christoval Casitas is not responsible if bridge is flooded and closed, and you can't get to the property or unable to leave the property to attend events.
