Bring all your extended family - kids & grandparents alike will love it here & will have the separate spaces they need to feel at home & to spread out. ☑️ 4 bedrooms & 4.5 bathrooms make it perfect for family / multi-generational vacations, an overdue reunion with friends, executive retreats, or unforgettable holidays. ☑️ Each bedroom has their own full bathroom for added privacy. A large first level bedroom with en-suite bathroom is on the main entrance level making it easy for older people, those with limited mobility or those who want a bit of separation from the other bedrooms. ☑️The kids can all be downstairs in the lower level separate living space with the oversized comfy couch, large screen tv, 3 additional bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. Bedroom 1: (main level - no stairs) 1 King size bed; 1 Pack N Play (can be relocated to any room in the house), en-suite full bathroom (separate tub and shower, double sink). Bedroom 2: (downstairs): 1 Queen size bed, en-suite bathroom with tub, direct patio access. Bedroom 3: (downstairs): 1 Queen size bed, 1 twin day bed with 1 trundle (so pulls out to create 2 side by side twin beds); en-suite bathroom. If you’re looking for a new group activity we have it - sitting in the Adirondack chairs under the mature trees in the large backyard (you can almost smell the scents now!), kids in the swings or giggling in the rocking chairs atop the fun escape deck, sipping hot cocoa & roasting marshmallows around the fire pit or even a game of basketball or ping pong…it’s all ready for you. If you want quiet time alone or with a special person, there are wonderful secluded areas as well - like the elevated seating deck high above the backyard. Beautiful large boulders, gorgeous pine & oak trees, streamers out back provide the kids plenty of nature to explore and keep entertained. The beauty of this property will really make you feel at home. There are two separate living areas with large tvs ready for you to enjoy - one on each level. The kids can go downstairs & adults upstairs - both have plenty of comfy seating to watch a good show. Each bedroom has a wireless phone charger making it just a bit easier to settle in. We have free parking for 4 cars. There is a flat 3-car driveway (with basketball hoop!) and room for 1 more car in the garage - making it easy when you come & go. We also offer a kitchen filled with items to make your vacation more enjoyable - a Keurig coffee maker for an espresso or cappuccino in the morning, a regular drip coffee maker, a toaster, plenty of dishes, pots, pans, wine glasses and more. There is a new 2022 full size washer & dryer with laundry detergent available for guests. Our home has lake rights (only homes within a certain distance from the lake have this) - that means that guests can utilize passes to access lake trails for a beautiful walk, picnic, fishing or a dive in the water! It’s a real benefit. The only exception is one owner's closet & the utility room where our water heater etc. is stored. For safety purposes, the utility room remains locked. Other than that, guests have access to the entire property - front and back, including the very large enclosed backyard with running stream (that lights up at night!) & both large decks. Other things to note We have a central Air Conditioner / Heater on both the lower and upper level of the home (many homes in Lake Arrowhead do not have a central AC system unit) so each floor can have its own different temperature. We also have extra space heaters in each bedroom for those who like it extra cozy warm in their room. So the temperatures can be adjusted separately for each floor and each bedroom. We want to ensure our guests are kept cool & comfortable during the warmer summer months and warm / toasty in the winter. It also has a whole house back-up generator in case the power in Lake Arrowhead goes out (which isn’t uncommon during a snow storm). Our power is restored within seconds. In many homes you will be left without power for hours until the utility company turns it back on (not fun!). We may offer a 30% discount on the nightly rate for the 3rd night when staying 3 days, 40% off the nightly rate of the 4th night when staying 4 nights and 50% off the nightly rate of the 5th night when staying 5 nights. Must be requested at time of booking. Excludes holidays & stays in July. CHECK IN: 3pm. We try to accomodate early check-in requests when possible. For guests arriving on Monday - Thursday we can more often accommodate an even earlier check-in (i.e., 12 noon) to allow for a much fuller first day. (Our cleaning crew has more flexibility on weekdays than Fridays). No charge. CHECK OUT: 11am. We try to allow guests however, to stay a bit past the 11am check-out time to enjoy a fuller last day & more relaxing morning (free of charge) IF no guests are checking in later that same day. Guests who check-out on a weekday rather than a weekend (i.e., stay a 3rd, 4th or 5th night checking out on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday) can often secure a later check-out time (i.e., 3pm) at no additional charge as our cleaning crew has more flexibility on weekdays. On weekends they are busier. Please message me to inquire. Snow ❄️ season No Chains = No Access- including 4x4 During snow season CHAINS are a MUST to access the mountain. Come prepared to avoid being turned away‼️ The roads coming up could be foggy, windy, and/or icy, it is best to drive up/down during daylight. Take all necessary precautions to be safe. Be prepared with fully charged phones, jackets, snacks and water available inside your vehicle in case of an emergency or if the roads are on a standstill. Important: 1. Tire Chains required to be installed at chain check points. 2. If you do not have chains, even if you are driving a 4x4, you will be turned away 3. Expect delays if roads are closed or if check points are active; allow yourself extra trip time. **Do Not rely on purchasing tire chains at the mountain. Chains are need at check points prior to accessing the town/stores Please check Road Conditions the day of your arrival. See you soon and have a safe trip! FOR ACCESS TO THE LAKE and trails you can visit the short term rental office in the marina. It is in the Arrowhead Lake Association office. The address is: 870 State Highway 173. It’s hard to see from the road, but when you see the boat ramp area you will see a small parking lot area. You will park there and then head down the stairs. It’s across from the snack bar. Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352 and purchase day passes for you and your guests. $10/per day per guest & 17 and under are free. If you would like to enjoy boating you can check out the McKenzie Waterski School in the Village or take the Queen ferry tour around the lake. Larger Groups up to 38 people: We partner with two other very nearby rental homes (one is 1 minute away & the other is less than a 5 minute walk from our home) so that a group up to 38 people can plan a vacation and stay close by to each other. If interested, please send a few options for days that would work so they can all be coordinated together. *Lake Gregory Recreational Park in Crestline is a pubic lake and close by (an easy 10 minute drive). They have fun boat rentals (kayaks, canoes, pedal boats etc.). Swimming and water slides is at the west end of the lake and a walking trail encircles the lake. The south shore of the lake is a popular fishing destination. Other things to note SECURITY CAMERAS: We have 24/7 video/audio security cameras on the exterior of property only. They are located on the front entrance (facing the front entryway) and side of cabin. These are security cameras focused on the entryways and designed to maintain privacy while enjoying our home.
