For architectural reasons, we can't modify it. 📢 Note: The water supply in downtown Oaxaca is once every 30 days, so we always try to have enough water for you, so we invite you to take care of the water 💧. 🌺 Views and surroundings From the terraces, windows and the outside, you will be amazed by our flowering bugambilias, the playground right in front of the house, and the unique view to the iconic elevated tank of Av. Independencia, a visible landmark from the plane upon arrival in Oaxaca! Guest access Access to the property is through the white gate, then you will enter through a blue door, which is the exclusive access for you as guests. For security and privacy, we invite you to keep it closed at all times. NOTE: The property is divided between your house and an adjacent accessory in the back. We have an excellent location, as the accommodation is: 3 blocks from the traditional "La Merced" market, which opens at 7:00 AM. Grocery and self-service stores, pharmacies, RED ATMs available from 7 am to 12 pm. Local public transport and foreign taxi to villages and tourist sites such as: "Árbol del Tule", Tlacolula (traditional indigenous Tianguis), Mitla (Archaeological Zones), Teotitlán del Valle (crafts and wool mats), Matatlan (mezcal production) from $20 to 35 pesos per person. In front of the house "Sport Center Sports Club": cardio, weights, fitness, swimming, aquafit and spin from 7 am to 8 pm. Price per visit from 70 to 90 pesos per person. 1.2 km from the city's Zócalo and the city's tourist walkway, passing by the “Macedonio Alcalá Theater and the San Pablo Garden. A 1.4 km walk to the Oaxaca Sports Center and the "Eduardo Vasconcelos" baseball stadium: jogging track, soccer and basketball courts, cycling track and gym. 1.6 km from the Temple and Cultural Center “Santo Domingo de Guzmán”, next to the Ethnobotanical Garden of Oaxaca Other things to note THE STAIRS IN THE PROPERTY ARE LOW WHEN YOU TURN TO GO UP TO THE SECOND LEVEL, SO TALL PEOPLE MAY HAVE TO BEND DOWN. THIS STRUCTURE CANNOT BE CORRECTED, HOWEVER, IT DOES NOT REPRESENT A MAJOR PROBLEM FOR GOING UP AND DOWN THE SECOND FLOOR. The bedding will be changed once a week with bedding that will be washed using disinfectant solutions and rinsed with water at 70 degrees Celsius and dried in the sun. Another important aspect is that the house is in front of a children's playground and that it also has an outdoor gym. * INFORMATION OF INTEREST* Our accommodation is located near the bus stop and collective taxis that go to the archaeological zone of Mitla, the petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua and the Traditional Market of Tlacolula. We are also very close to the Oaxaca Sports Park, which has sports facilities ideal for exercising or enjoying as a family. Nearby you will find two gyms with a pool for children and adults, as well as a ballroom dance academy and urban rhythms for those who want to stay active or simply have fun during their stay. In addition, we are located a short distance from Teotitlán del Valle, a charming town known for the production of handmade rugs, and Santiago Matatlán, surrounded by beautiful agave fields and recognized as the birthplace of the famous mezcal of Oaxaca. SECURITY: Our properties have a night security guard who can assist our guests with whatever they need. REGARDING NOISE: Oaxaca's historic center is a multicultural place, full of traditions and delicious food; an essential part of our customs includes folklore and music, which can often cause unexpected noises during celebrations. Thinking about your rest, we have earplugs inside the first aid kit that you can use if you need them. CLIMATE CHANGE: Dear guest, the house is surrounded by trees and we have mosquito nets on windows and terrace doors.
