This unique new build lodge is located only 15- minute drive from Rovaniemi city center. Lodge has two single beds and one queen sized bed. It comes with modern and equipped kitchen, bathroom and a private sauna. What makes our lodge unique is private northern lights viewing point with own fireplace. City lights are limited in the area, which makes the viewing experience very enjoyable. The space Here is an introduction to our Lodge Parking You can park anywhere in the front yard, there is room for many cars. Bedroom one Our master bedroom has a Queen sized bed, a front view of the big window, a small cabinet and an armchair. Linen and towels are included. Bedroom two The other bedroom has two single beds, a view to the front yard and a small cabinet. Linen and towels are included. Lounge and dine area Our Lodge has a combined area for dining and relaxing. A kitchen table, Six chairs, comfortable sofa, TV and a view outside from the big windows. Kitchen The Kitchen is very modern, equipped with stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge and a breakfast station with many appliances (toaster, kettle, coffee machine, waffle iron) All the kitchen ware and also plastic ware for our younger guests. Bathroom Lodge has a lovely bathroom with rain shower, washing machine, toilet, hair dryer. All the washing lotions are provided (shampoo, conditioner and body lotion) Sauna Lodge has a big electric sauna, that is simple to use and control. There is also an access from sauna to the patio to cool down or even roll on the snow! Extras By request a travel bed for baby or small child can be arranged, as well as a babychair. Patio There is a big front patio, you can access it from the living room and bathroom, it is also an excellent place to view the northern lights Aurora vieving point Outside there is an aurora viewing point with outdoor fireplace, comfy seats and firewood. This spot is great for viewing northern lights, since there is not a lot of light pollution in the area. At this point the auroras are usually right in front of you if they are visible. In the cabin you can find manual on how to make a fire, feel free to ask for help as well! Guest access The whole Lodge and outside is in your use, feel free to go in the forest and enjoy the snow. You can also walk on the other side of the road to the river ice, but check first with locals if the ice is strong enough! Other things to note Please notice, that there's no public transportation to the location, taxis from city center/airport are around 25€. Let me know if you need help with renting a car.
