Shepherds rest with hot tub

Shepherd’s Rest is a romantic retreat for two in a peaceful, adults-only glamping site. Enjoy a king-sized bed, underfloor heating, a mini kitchen, and an ensuite bathroom. Outside, relax in the log-burning hot tub with bubbles, BBQ, or bistro dining set. Embrace wellness with the tranquil surroundings and rejuvenating hot tub experience. The space Shepherd’s Rest is located at Tone Valley View Glamping, an adults-only site in Somerset with three private units. The setting is truly stunning, offering breathtaking views and starry skies at night. The shepherd's hut features underfloor heating, a king-sized bed, a log burner, and an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen includes an espresso machine, fridge with ice box, sink, microwave, twin hot plate, air fryer, toaster, and kettle—please note, there’s no oven. All linens and towels are provided. Outside, enjoy a private, enclosed area with BBQ, dining table, and sun loungers. The centerpiece is our log-burning hot tub with Bubbles, which you can light and heat during your stay. The hot tub will need to be lit and heated by you during your stay. In summer, it takes 1.5–2 hours to heat from cold (less if it’s already warm), and in winter, it takes 3–4 hours due to the cooler temperatures. We can pre-light it and bring it to temperature before your arrival for a £30 charge. A bin of wood is provided with every stay, and additional bags are available for £7 each. There’s a dedicated parking area with space for one car per unit, surrounded by a wildlife-friendly hedge. Guest access We have a small carpark on site for people to park in. We are in the countryside, and it is beautiful, the downside is transport links are poor so if you want to pop out, we recommend a car. There are lots of places to walk locally but it is hilly so please bear in mind. Other things to note We provide bedding and towels to use during your stay and the unit has electric underfloor heating. The unit has Wi-Fi. As we are in the countryside, we do get Foxes, Rabbets, Pheasants, Squirrels and even Deer (great fun to watch). We have sheep in the field some of the time, this will behind an electric fence so you will not wake up with a sheep at the bottom of the bed, but they can be talkative especially when lambing (they are also great fun to watch). My parents live on site in a nearby house which overlooks the field as a whole. we have made every effort to make the units as private as possible.
