Newly built characterful house in walking distance to beach and with electric car charger. In the quiet village of Bolingey, the house is perfect to get away from it all, while still being only a 12 minute walk from the award winning, 3 mile long, Perranporth Beach. You can soak up the quiet, enjoy the bustling coastal town of Perranporth or explore further afield to one of many fantastic coastal locations within a 20 minute drive. The space Upstairs you can settle into the open plan kitchen, living and dining room. With electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer and all the necessary kitchen utensils you can cook up a storm while relaxing with your friends and family. Large bifold doors lead from the upstairs space onto the outdoor area with large decking set for alfresco dining in a sunny garden. This leads up to a further outdoor area with firepit. Need to work during your stay? Despite our rural location we provide free access to superfast internet during your stay. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms. Bedroom one comprises a superkingsize bed, while bedroom 2 has two full sized single beds arranged as quirkey bunkbeds. Photos of bedrooms to follow as they are nearing completion in our renovation. Freshen up in the family bathroom, where you will find a shower and bath with plenty of hot water. All linen and bathroom towels provided. No beach towels. Please take note; this is a non smoking/vaping property and this will not be tolerated in or outside the house. Guest access The whole property. Other things to note Please Note this is a strict no smoking and no pets property. We can provide 1 offroad carparking space and one electric car charger EV Zappi charger. We currently charge the electricity for this at cost (33p/ kWh). There is also nearby unrestricted on-road parking available. We are a family of 4 and have spent the last 4 years restoring this barn and the cottage next door. The cottage is in the village of Bolingey. It is a quiet village, with a friendly local pub just a 5 minute stroll away serving food and local beers. For a different vibe you can also try the newly opened micro brewery, also just a 5 minute stroll, also serving their own range of drinks and food. A 12 minute walk, or 5 minute cycle, brings you to the town of Perranporth. Here you can enjoy the beautiful beach or browse the unique range of art, surf and souvenir shops. Surf hire is easy to arrange and there are also a large range of restaurants, takeaways, pubs and cafes. See our welcome pack for recommendations. Also located in Perranporth are two Coop shops with carparking. A short 10 minute drive will lead you to explore a range of other North Cornish Coastal beauty spots such as St Agnes, Holywell and Crantock. Or 20 minutes will lead you to the hustle and bustle of the world renowned surf town of Newquay. Head inland and you will find Truro, a cathedral city or head on past Truro to explore the delights of the south coast of Cornwall. The options are endless and we are very happy to pass on our local insights having explored every nook and cranny of the Cornish coast We love our location and do our best to explore the area regularly by bike as a family.
