This clean and bright vacation lake house offers an amazing view of calm lake waters - with a quick walk down to its new dock. All wheel drive or four-wheel-drive is required to drive the 300’ gravel driveway to the house!! Or park at top. Enjoy kayaking, swimming in summer, or just sitting inside or outside watching the water and the neighboring birds - osprey, heron, geese, ducks, and sometimes bald eagles. 3 kayaks with a release. Off season it’s very quiet, offering a personal retreat. The space This loved vacation home was built in 2015, is 1400 square feet, and has three bedrooms, each one with a queen bed. The upstairs master bedroom also has a couch pull out with a new mattress. The tiny guest house has a separate small fridge, desk, and twin bed for one person. The main house has two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer. There is AC which may be helpful during the June/July summer evenings. The TV is upstairs in the master bedroom in front of a couch - with an HDMI cable for either windows or apple to hook your laptop. Or there is a DVD player with dozens of movies to select from. No cable. Board games and books are available in the living room. During November through March, the property does not get direct sun on it but the light is bright in the home because of the reflecting light from the lake. The property is protected from winds and set back on a bay to make it be private. Typically throughout the colder seasons, the lake is very calm and so peaceful. Behind the property is the Siuslaw National Forest which goes for many miles (but no nearby trails on it). This is a very secluded, quiet place. Apart from summer months, you will probably not see any neighbors around you. Guest access You have full access to the house and the property during your stay Please sign a (standard) kayak waiver that I will send to you in a message. Other things to note If you don’t have Verizon or a partner with Verizon, (T-Mobile should work ) expect to only be able to make text or calls via WIFI in the home or from the deck. Those with AT&T cannot make SMS text messages from the house so you need to plan out communicating through some other Wi-Fi based messaging app. If you have roaming on, you should be able to make any phone calls, depending on your provider. Unplugged the security cameras as soon as you enter.
