Cherry’s Cottage

Overlooking beautiful rolling countryside just 6 miles from the World Heritage city of Bath is this cosy, wooden-clad, light-filled cottage with an open plan living area and stunning views. The cottage (within the garden of our property) has a private parking space a short walk away, and is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop with a direct bus route to Bath. There is a garden in front of the cottage facing west for a great view of the setting sun. The space There are 2 bedrooms rooms, each with a double bed, the bedroom at the front has doors out on to a small wooden balcony. The bathroom has a full sized bath with a shower over the top and a washing machine. The main living space has a sitting area with 2 sofas and tv, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook, an under counter fridge and a small dishwasher. There is a fire blanket, first aid kit and fire extinguisher under the sink. There is a small garden at the front of the property with seating to enjoy the view over the valley in front. To the side of the cottage is a rather rudimentary glass house with a small table and chairs which can be easily be taken out to the garden to use in good weather. Guest access The whole cottage is for guests and the garden in front. Other things to note The cottage was once my children’s grandmother’s and they spent many happy hours there from when they were babies all through their childhoods. Having said that, there are some things you should consider for small children. There is a balcony in the front bedroom with a drop the ground below. The door can be locked. There is also a Rayburn Cooker in the kitchen which, if on, is hot to touch.
