This tiny houseboat sits permanently on a boat lift, so you will have the unique experience of being over water without the risk of sea sickness! Located in the heart of quaint Solomons Island, this is a great stay if you love being near the water. Unparalleled views from your private porch. Please note, due to extensive pet damage we have changed this property to strictly no animals. You will be asked to leave if you arrive with a pet. The space The houseboat sits directly beside a second houseboat which a one bedroom and searchable by “Island Shanty”. These boats are docked on a private property that has a large historic shed. This part of the property is only for private use, but feel free to stop in and hang out if we are in there. There is a private boat slip available for rent if you would like to arrive via boat. This property is also directly across the street from the famous Tiki Bar. There are many times, especially during the week, where it is very quiet there but you must be prepared for loud music and people around. Important note! This sit on boat lifts and have weight limits. For this reason, there is a strict 2 guest minimum. Guest access You are welcome to use the pier, the yard, and the bikes freely. If you are interested in having your own gathering and would like to reserve the shed please let us know! There is a photo in the listing of this space, but must be reserved in advance. Other things to note Please keep in mind this is not a standard home! Use hot water sparingly and don’t plug in all the electronics at once! Parking is public and you will find many spaces either right in front of the houseboat or close by on the island. If you absolutely cannot find anywhere reasonable close please text me and I will share my space next door.
