Escape to our charming 2-bedroom stone barn, just 10 mins from Alton Towers & JCB Golf, 20 mins to the Peak District & Uttoxeter Races. With 2 double bedrooms, a comfy lounge, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom & outdoor space, it’s your home from home. Nestled in 3 acres with direct paths to scenic Dimmingsdale, it’s perfect for families & friends seeking countryside relaxation with plenty of attractions nearby for unforgettable days out. The space Enjoy fast Wi-Fi throughout the barn and a cosy lounge with family games and a TV with Netflix. Designed for up to 4 guests, the barn offers two elegant bedrooms: one with a plush double bed, the other configurable as twin singles or a sumptuous 180cm super king (let us know your preference). Bathroom with shower, modern kitchen with dining for 4. Outdoors, unwind on a private rear patio with seating and chiminea (initial logs provided) or enjoy al fresco dining in the front seating area. Dedicated off-road parking for two cars ensures convenience throughout your stay. Guest access Guests will have sole access to the barn. The barn has private seating areas both at the front and the back. To the side of the barn, near the field there is a shared bbq area with a large table and chairs for you to use. (Please bring some charcoal if you’re planning to use the BBQ) Guests are free to walk through, play in or have a picnic in our fields surrounding the barn. There is a gate in the middle field which leads into the woods and down onto the old Earl’s Drive which takes you through Dimmingsdale, a haven for wildlife and ramblers with beautiful woodland walks and a popular tea room about 30/ 40 minutes walk away. The area is also great for both mountain biking and road biking, guests are welcome to store bikes in the garage next to the barn. There are two supermarkets in Cheadle, about 5 minutes away and two village shops in Alton. We are only 10 minutes from Denstone Hall Farm shop in Denstone. This award winning farm shop has a wonderful selection of locally sourced food produce and household items and gifts. Other things to note During periods of drought or prolonged dry weather, we kindly ask guests not to use the BBQ or chiminea, as they can pose a significant fire risk to the surrounding woodland.
