This is a self contained, private, quiet, rural setting just 29kms from Canberra's CBD, Queanbeyan is 15kms & 20 kms from Bungendore. Wifi access & mobile reception are available at the property. The facilities make for a great, quiet stopover enroute to the snowfields, the south coast, or when visiting Canberra. Fantastic views, amazing birdlife & plenty of outdoor space awaits for couples, solo adventurers & business travellers. The space Fully self contained, open plan granny flat with reverse cycle air-conditioner, a queen sized bed with electric blanket and beautiful views to the mountains. The space is large, open plan and well lit with stunning views. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery, an oven with a cook top and griller, a microwave and kettle. Tea, coffee and milk are provided, and when available, farm fresh eggs. The bathroom contains a shower, toilet, vanity and washing machine. There is a drier available too. Guest access Guests can access the granny flat at the rear, through the garage door. There's a lock box on the large farm gate which contains the garage door remote & keys. Other things to note The weather can be fickled and a cool easterly can come through on hot Summer afternoons. In Winter it can temperatures can drop to -8C, so bring plenty of layers! "The Sh-ouse" is well insulated and cosy though, and you have an electric blanket! You will be staying in the countryside, so please be aware of native wildlife such as kangaroos, possums, birds and reptiles. We live in harmony with these animals and respect their presence.
