One Tree Hill

Kick back and relax in this funky, stylish space. Located in the Scenic Rim, and powered entirely by solar, this new cabin exudes style and elegance. Ideal for 2 adults, looking for some special time away, this self-contained space offers all you need for a genuine life detox. Relax with an outdoor open fire, and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Count the stars or simply chill out, on over 30M2 of covered outdoor deck. Wander the property and admire some of our cattle. This is living! The space One Tree Hill is a unique, solar powered space. The building relies entirely on the sun. You still have all the comforts of home. Frequently used items like the kettle, cooktop and hot water, are all run on gas. The microwave, toaster, refrigerator, coffee machine and lighting, all run off a bank of lithium batteries. USB points are provided in a number of our power outlets. Just bring your cord. The building has a split system air-conditioner although, this appliance is very 'power hungry'. Star gazing is encouraged around our open fire place. Firewood is provided free of charge. The building has been positioned to take advantage of the general weather conditions of our area. Sitting 233 metres above sea level, the buildings' northern end, directly faces Mt. Moon at 335° NNW. We enjoy gentle breezes from both the NE and the SW. The large open deck takes full advantage of these, particularly during the summer months. Guest access One Tree Hill is conveniently located 20 minutes from Boonah. You will travel on bitumen road the entire way to the front gate. You can also access One Tree Hill by helicopter if you wish. We have 2 designated landing zones. Transfers from Archerfield can be arranged. Contact us for further details. Feel free to wander around our property during your stay. There are cattle grazing here, as well as kangaroos, hares, the occasional koala and of course snakes of all varieties. Please stay within our boundary fences during your wanderings. Other things to note We encourage you to park your car inside the One Tree Hill fence. The cattle are generally quiet, but are also inquisitive. They may enjoy licking your mirrors or tasting your bumper bar. If you're inclined to feed them, they enjoy bread and carrots. For stays longer than 2 nights, fresh towels are provided. Our EV Charger is available for a fee. It is located approximately 100 metres from the cabin. IT IS NOT A SUPERCHARGER. It is supplied by a 20amp outlet and is to be used in daylight hours.
