Our Hill Country escape offers you panoramic views overlooking the famous Devil's Backbone. This is a true Texas Hill Country gem. Enjoy the incredible sunrises & sunsets in our pool, on the spacious deck, or relax in the large hot tub while gazing out into the scenic hill country. Our home is conveniently located to Canyon Lake Marina and Horseshoe Bend on the Guadalupe River. We are surrounded by several local wineries, and many more outdoor activities for you and your loved ones to enjoy. The space Our property sits on .75 acres of land. The house was built on an elevated slope that overlooks the famous Devil's Backbone with stunning hill country views. We welcome your well-behaved furry friends! All pets must be listed on the reservation when booking. The Pet Fee is $35 per pet, per night, and is non-refundable. Fee for undisclosed pets is $150/per pet per night. Please see house rules for more details. About: Our home is a cozy 1650 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We have nice comfortable beds with brand new TV's in every room. Kitchen: A full size kitchen equipped with a gas burner stove, microwave, and farm style sink with an installed reverse osmosis water system to offer up clean, purified drinking water. The dining area has a large kitchen table that can seat up to 8 people and sits right by 2 large scenic windows that overlook the Devil's Backbone. Living Room: A large sofa set that can sit up to to 8 people. There are 2 large scenic windows that overlook the Devil's Backbone. There is a 75 inch TV wall mounted. Beside the TV sits a workspace desk equipped with a printer, smart phone charging station, and fun board games and card games on the bottom shelf of the desk. Coffee and Tea Station: We have a very diverse coffee and tea selection and comes stocked with different complimentary teas and coffee varieties. We have a Drip Coffee machine where you can make latte's as well, Nespresso machine, French Press, and a K Cup Machine. We encourage you to make yourself a cup of coffee in the morning, walk out onto our deck, and enjoy the incredible sunrise views overlooking Devils Backbone. Deck: The home has a large deck with comfortable outdoor seating chairs and 2 picnic tables. This deck is the heart of our home as it offers up some of the best hill country views in the area. There is a propane grill where you can cook up some steaks or burgers. Pool: This pool is up to 5 feet deep with a splash pad for the little ones to enjoy. The spa can accommodate up to 8 people. Enjoy the beautiful hill country views of Devil's backbone while sipping a drink and sitting on the built in stool inside the pool. We have provided fun floats and water toys for extra fun. These are located in the garage inside the folding wagon. Hot Tub: The hot tub is a large, 10 person whirlpool that has 2 loungers and 8 seats with jets that can sooth your body as you relax and gaze out into the hill country scenery. Bathrooms: Our bathrooms come stocked with plenty of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We offer plenty of towels for everyone to use during your stay. The main bathroom has 2 vanity sinks and a large walk-in shower. Things to Do: Canyon Lake Marina: (3.8 miles) Bring your boat, rent a boat, or hang out at the Canyon Park. Horseshoe Bend Guadalupe River: (7.8 miles) Great place to go tubing and cool off during the hot summer months. Wineries / Vineyards: There are several small and large vineyards within close proximity of our home. One of our favorite local vineyards to visit is called Seventh Son Vineyards located just 7.5 miles away. Hiking / Biking: There are several hiking and biking trails along Canyon Lake. Some of the popular local hiking trails include Madrone Trail Loop, Overlook Park, Canyon Lake Dam Loop, and James C Curry Loop. Horseback Riding Trail: There are several horseback riding trails within close proximity. Hollow Tree Ranch offers rides along Canyon Lake. Southern Trails offers rides through hill country and is just 1.9 miles away. You will need to make reservations in advance for most or all of these ranches. The Wimberly Square: (12 miles) Located just 12 miles away in the heart of hill country, this is a famous place for unique retail shops, wine tasting rooms, art galleries, and more. Gruene Historic District: (19 miles) This is another famous spot for retail shops, tasting rooms, art galleries, and more. Schlitter Bahn Water Park: (21.5 miles) A very large and fun water park located in New Braunfels. Natural Bridge Caverns: (33.8 miles) This is a great place to explore a beautiful cave. They also offer a Safari tour and there is a very nice obstacle course for the kids to enjoy.
