A little corner of serenity Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The house is located in a medieval village, on the shores of Lake Como. The apartment is accessed from the ancient Strada Regia: You will find yourself directly on the 4th floor of the house. The balcony offers a breathtaking view over the rooftops of the village where you can enjoy the beauty of the lake. The space Crossing the threshold, a small journey through time awaits you: the entrance houses grandmother's furniture and an old vintage radio (Philips 1932) which, with a touch of modernity, now houses the Wi-Fi. From here you can access the bright living area, where a chaise-longue and a sofa invite you to relax, between a good read and the view of the panorama. The spacious and fully equipped kitchen with oven and refrigerator completes the living area. Continuing along the corridor, you reach the sleeping area: here you will find a charming 1950s-style double bed and a practical room with bunk beds. Finally, at the end of the path, there are the toilets and a convenient dedicated laundry room. The balcony completes the property: the view of the lake is simply marvellous. Guest access BY CAR OR TAXI – La CaBinisa is located 130 metres from the car park at Via Quarzano 9. To reach it, you will travel along the ancient Via Regia, a charming cobbled road once crossed by mules transporting goods. The road has no significant changes in elevation. This is a historic, uneven route, so the walk can be challenging for those using pushchairs or wheelchairs. Please also note that there are five low, wide steps near the entrance, which can be negotiated with a little care. BY BUS – There are 2 options: You can walk up the steps that connect the Lariana state road to La Ca' Binisa (a 160-metre mule track with a 35-metre elevation gain). This option is suitable if you have light luggage or a comfortable rucksack. The staircase is not suitable for those using pushchairs or wheelchairs, nor for those planning to carry suitcases on wheels. Alternatively, you can choose to walk to the car park at Via Quarzano 9 via the driveway on Via Don Paolo Bernasconi. From that point on, the above applies. With the exception of properties located on the 'Lariana' main road, The village of Pognana is criss-crossed by ancient mule tracks, which give it a distinctive and 'challenging' character: it takes a bit of effort to climb up and down from one hamlet to another. LaCaBinisa is situated on the outskirts of the historic stone-built village.
