Kern's Little Village is nested in the edge of the woods & offers 3 separate unique rentals which provide an excellent relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is a peaceful spot and the ultimate in "slow life" where you truly step back in time. A cozy place for a couple or perfect for anyone seeking solitude and a slower pace, surrounded by nature. We're about 20 min away from the entrance to Mt. Rainier, 10 min from the grocery store & 2 min away from Alder Lake. The space Please read until the end before booking this unit. Step inside this cozy two-room Adventure suite and feel right at home with its slope ceiling bedroom, real wood furniture, big and efficient fireplace, and a small kitchenette that features a small mini-fridge, a microwave, a kettle, coffee and creamer, sugar and tea, mugs and glasses, silverware, paper towels & plates, cutting board & a knife, bowls, and a wine opener. The bedroom has a king size bed and a place for your luggage. You will need to go up the stairs to access this unit. ***This room is ideal for 2, since everything is tiny and small inside, but if you have 2 more small people with you we can offer a sleeping bag for one and another person can sleep on the couch. This is a dry room, meaning there is NO running water inside the unit. But we offer a 5 gallon of water just outside of your door. Thw Jug can be refilled anytime. We offer a Porta Potty (honey bucket) outside for the bathroom. Dry cabin means there is no shower inside, but 4 min away from there is an Alder Lake Park where you can find shower facility. ****The shower facility in the park is actually pretty nice. They open from 8 am to 9 pm. They take quarters 1$ for 12min. It is part of the camp groun, but the camp ground is away accross the road. This shower faicility stands on its own right in the middle of the park where people swim. It is very well maintained. I attached the pictures of it at the end. Not to mention, that spot on Alder Lake is the BEST to enjoy the sunset. Alder Lake is a cool place to check out while in this area. We have Star Link router for the internet. The town of Elbe is only 4 min away where you will find some places to eat, including Elbe Bar and Grill that closes at midnight. Other things to note Please note, we live on this property, so during the day, time to time you will see children (though, their summer will be busy spending time with grandparents and family away from home).
