Perfect for summer lake days, vibrant fall foliage trips, and cozy winter escapes, relax & play at Water's Edge on Little Pennesseewassee Pond (aka "Hobb's Pond") in beautiful Norway, ME. This 3 BR yr round home is mere feet from the water and is the perfect spot for four seasons of fun. Water's Edge is less than a five minute drive to downtown Norway, which was named one of the best small towns in Maine by Downeast Magazine. Come & enjoy the beautiful "lakes & mountains" region! The space "Water's Edge" is on a small piece of land in between Waterford Road (Rt 118) and Little Pennesseewassee Pond (aka "Hobb's Pond"). Because it sits close to the road, we do not allow pets other than registered guide dogs (with advance notice). We have a small, fenced in and private side yard (complete with fire pit), a lovely dock into the water, and we happily share our four kayaks, a stand up paddleboard and canoe with our guests. Water's Edge is stylishly decorated with art from (mostly) local artists and well-appointed with a full kitchen, a combo living/dining room upstairs, a full bath and two bedrooms upstairs and another full living area downstairs that includes a king sized bed, seating area with a sofa/futon bed (single size) and puzzle/work table. Wifi is provided. We also have a small washer/dryer unit and provide linens, towels and bath towels. Parking is limited (no more than four cars) and we encourage folks to be very careful pulling into and out of the parking area as traffic can be zippy (by Maine standards), especially in the summer months. We ask our guests to please be mindful of the other camps and year-round residences near Water's Edge, keeping noise down, no fireworks and absolutely no smoking of any kind in the camp. June 15- Sept 15 requires a three night minimum stay; 2 night minimum otherwise. We live nearby and are happy to answer questions or stop by if needed (when out of town, we have a property manager available). Guest access Guests have access to the entire home except for the lockout basement area off the downstairs living area & an owner’s closet area under the stairs.
