This is LaCava Inn! Be transported to a Mediterranean hideaway in this one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast suite with stunning pastoral views, a hot tub and conveniently located on the Placer wine trail. The suite accommodates 2 adults and was designed specifically to be your peaceful and romantic retreat. LaCava Inn is stocked with a fully functioning kitchen, dining nook, bed cove, spacious bathroom, private balcony, and sunk in hot tub overlooking breathtaking views. A destination in itself! The space LaCava Inn is a uniquely designed apartment suite that is an attached, yet completely private portion of the host’s two-story residence. The entrance to LaCava Inn faces the road and views, while the owner/ inn keeper’s entrance is on the opposite side of the structure. Guests will feel totally set apart in their own wonderland and have access to a tranquil outside courtyard, balcony with hot tub overlooking the sunset, and the suite that’s a Mediterranean dream! We love spoiling our guests! Complimentary breakfast items are provided along with many items to enjoy for your cozy night in- “go put your records on” our stand up vinyl player, enjoy some poetry or classic literature from our mini library, have some friendly competition with one of our board games, and use the pizza oven for a fun co-cooking night. When you’re ready to explore our beautiful community of Auburn, grab our complimentary pickleball paddles, picnic basket, or stand up paddle boards to borrow on your way out!! PLEASE NOTE!!: -LaCava Inn is an ADULTS ONLY accommodation. -Access to the suite requires a scenic stroll on an uphill walking path with many steps, lights and plants. Once inside of the suite, there are 3 different ground levels, each divided by 1-2 steps illuminated for visibility and ambiance. -There is no wheelchair accessibility. Guest access Guests have access to the following: Guest parking Uphill path to the apartment/suite Outside lower courtyard Balcony just off of the suite The interior of the suite *The inn keeper is working toward more outdoor entertainment areas for guests Other things to note Add-ons: Once your booking has been confirmed, a guest amenity questionnaire form will be sent to you. This form allows us the opportunity to customize your experience at LaCava Inn by preparing the space with complimentary items of your choosing (i.e. continental breakfast items/ use of items like picnic basket, painting station, etc.) Elevate your experience even more with our “basket bundle” options. Our baskets have a fee that will be charged separately after you have checked-in. The options are as follows: The Pizza Night Basket - $40 This basket is inspired by the idea of a "romantic night in" and making homemade pizzas - comes with pre-kneaded pizza dough ball, jar of pizza sauce, shredded cheese, pepperoni, and up to three of the following: fresh basil, pineapple chunks, sliced olives, feta cheese, tomato, baby bell pepper. Also comes with the use of our pizza oven. The Winery Picnic Basket - $56 This basket is full of goodies to take with you for a sweet picnic at one of our local wineries. It comes with a variety of cheeses, nuts, meats, crackers (gluten free on request), seasonal fruit, hummus, veggies, a charcuterie board + knife set to keep, a map of our favorite wineries that have ideal picnic areas, and the basket itself is yours to keep! The Chocolate Fondue Basket - $25 This basket is a treat all in itself or pairs well with either of the other baskets! It comes with chocolate bars, marshmallows, short bread cookies, and seasonal fruit. Comes with use of our portable fondue pot. Reminder: This property requires the ability to walk up steps both inside and out. All steps, inside and out, are able to be lit for visibility. The step lights inside are also dimmable.
