3 bedroom house with log burner & free logs and EV charg. Ord, Sleat " South Skye, Isle of Skye. We provide bed linen, bath, hand and dish towels, house electricity. NOT FREE EV charg type 2 guests need to instal & usel "Monta" App. Open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area with log stove, wood provided free. Very large external deck with seating and outstanding views of the Cuillin Ridge and the Islands of Rum & Canna. Three day booking minimum but contact us to discuss fewer nights. The space Short term letting licence number HI-30256-F. A modern house of Scandanavian design. The house looks straight at one of the best views in Scotland, the Cuillin mountain ridge which the sun sets behind. You can also see the mountains of the Island of Rum and some of the small isles. The 3 car parking area has a 7.4 KW EV charger with its own cable. Access to the charger requires a Monta App (available on Apple Store or Google Play). The cost of charging is separate and additional to the rental fee and is paid through the Monta App. (All other fuel in the house is free including logs for the log burner.) The house is semi open plan on two floors. At the front facing the sea there is a large open plan kitchen, dining sitting room with television (internet based free services iPlayer etc) and a log burner stove (firewood is included). There is a large deck with dining table and chairs outside this room. There is also a mezzanine sitting, reading and small children's play area. The kitchen area has a double oven & hob, an undercounter fridge and a dishwasher. Separate to the open plan area there are 3 bedrooms - a downstairs double with king sized bed, a downstairs twin and an upstairs small twin which nestles into the sloping roof. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a large bathroom with a bath shower combination, a utility room with automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and second under counter fridge. There is an entry storm porch with snug sitting area and small television. The house has wifi and a large semi wild enclosed garden. The heating is electric night storage supplemented by the log burner. Guest access Self check-in. Access to the house is via a keysafe. Other things to note The house has been granted a "Short Term Letting" licence by Highland Council and the Scottish Government. The licence number is HI- 30256-F The village of Ord is not on mains water. Our house is part of a group which has a borehole and water quality is subject to annual testing by Highland Council. It is good safe drinking water which is not treated with chemicals. Nonetheless guests may wish to drink bottled water.
