The space The apartment with its own front door entrance is at ground level through a small hedged courtyard. Where a bench is nestled in the shrubbery and potted plants. Perfect for an aperitif in the afternoon sun. Immediately inside the front door there is a spacious hall way with original features. At the top of the stairs, you will find a cosy welcoming space, providing a selection of books to choose from and a complementary tipple of whisky. Perfect for quieter moments which allows you to relax and unwind in the sumptuous reading nook. The bathroom has a bath and an over head shower. The bedroom has two generous sized single beds which can also become a ‘zip and link’ super-king bed. Quality linens and warm lighting provide a calm and wonderful haven after a busy day. There are two large wardrobes with hanging space and plenty of drawers. A fully equipped boutique kitchen allows you to rustle up a full meal or a quick snack to enjoy, whilst relaxing infront of the log burner in the beautifully styled living area. This spacious and light lounge is snuggly with its comfy couch, cushions and throws. There are plenty of cosy warm lamps around the room, for those evenings watching TV. The sun also streams through the bay window in the evening, which allows for a wonderful view of the sunset. There are many special touches throughout the property, including a nod to local artists and heritage of the local area through beautiful wall art. Guest access Guests can access the entire space. The owners live off site. Other things to note The spacious apartment is ideal for a relaxing getaway, located on the outskirts of Liverpool. With easy walking to either Waterloo or Blundellsands train stations to the city centre. There are theatres, restaurants, M&S arena and football stadiums. Also accessible are numerous golf courses along the coast. Not forgetting the Grand National at Aintree . Locally there are many shops, bars and restaurants. The famous Antony Gormley's Iron Men statues are just a five minute walk away. Swimming baths, cinema, marina and a water sport centre are also close by. For the football enthusiasts the barbers shop down below is a treasure trove of football memorabilia, A venue frequented by Carlo Ancelotti during his time as manager at Everton football club. The barbers is owned by Will, the son of Geoff Twentyman the player and legendary chief scout of Liverpool FC. One of the cities hidden gems that brings to life the stories and atmosphere with scouse humour, which is typical of the Twentyman barber shop.
