Pods At Woodlands has been hand crafted and is situated right beside the A7 which is one of the main routes to the beautiful Scottish Borders near Gretna Green and only a short distance to the global renowned Lake District. Making pods at woodlands the perfect base. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, set in beautiful ancient woodlands. A world away from the daily hustle and bustle. The space During your stay you will have full access to 10 acres of ancient woodland. To get close to nature follow our sign posted woodland walks. On arrival you will have access to our on site car park once you exit the car park there is led wooden steps to help you find your way as well as a wooden banister. The lockbox to access your pod will be located outside the front door . The outside entrance has plenty of room for shoes & coats , perfect after a day of woodland walks. Inside you will be greeted with a home-from- home ambience. All pods come with a double bed ,fresh linen and blanket. Sitting area with a tv ,sound system, board games & books. Kitchenette that comes with complimentary tea & coffee. The kitchenette includes kettle, toaster, microwave , small mini fridge, crockery, cutlery, glassware and a sink with washing up liquid and hand wash . Disposable barbecue's are available on request to use by the outside fire pit. Private Bathroom with overhead shower cubical , toilet and sink .The bathroom also includes fresh towels ,a mirror , shampoo ,conditioner, hand wash, shower gel & toilet roll. Outside is a wooden balcony with a fixed bench that overlooks the forest. Perfect to enjoy the sunrise , a glass of fizz or to simply relax. To the right of the pod down led lit steps is a small lit changing area with hooks for towels and robes. (Robes can be provided as an added extra ). Once you are changed in to swimwear emerge yourself in the incredible jacuzzi bubbles , sit back and relax while listening to the woodland animals or turn on the radio on the jacuzzi for all types of music. You can overlook the fire-pit from the hot tub or sit and relax on the wooden bench which is under cover. We look forward to welcoming you soon !
