Cabin by Suldalsvatnet

Relax with the whole family at Suldalsvatnet embraced by mountains and nature. Located approximately halfway between Gullingen and Røldal. Short drive to great hiking areas. Among other things, Hylsskardet, where the Vikings had a trade route in the past, is located right by the cabin. The cabin is under gradual renovation, so photos may differ somewhat from the actual appearance. Please note! The cabin is not rented out as a party venue. Guests are responsible for cleaning the cabin themselves after the end of their stay, so new guests arrive at a clean and nice place The space Welcome to our family cabin. We often use it ourselves and enjoy the nature and silence around. Here you can relax or take a trip and explore the municipality. Suldal offers many activities and great nature experiences. The cabin has a good standard and we upgrade regularly. 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 upstairs. We try to have the kitchen as well equipped as possible, please give us tips if something is missing! We have a TV that can be connected to your phone with casting. Free Wi-Fi included. Guest access The entire cabin is available. An external building with fireplace is now only used as storage due to instability, not for accommodation. Other things to note It is not possible to drive all the way to the door. There is a shared parking lot about 100 meters from the cabin. The trail can sometimes be wet, boots or waterproof shoes are recommended if the weather is bad. Boat can be rented for NOK 1,500 for a weekend (3 days), or NOK 3,000 for a week (7 days). Minimum price NOK 1,500 (May-September) The boat's fuel tank must be filled up after use, 98 octane petrol. It is also possible to borrow bed linen and towels. Bed sheets 150 NOK per person. Towels 79 NOK per person. To ensure that bed linen and towels are available when you arrive, we must be notified no later than one week before arrival. There is running water in the cabin that is used for showering, washing dishes, etc. This is stored in a water tank under the cabin, so it is recommended to bring your own drinking water. There is a pump inside the bathroom that starts after a certain amount of water is used, it makes a lot of noise so don't be afraid - it's normal. :) The water in the water hose outdoors comes directly from Suldalsvatnet, this is great for boiling coffee and for other cooking. Many also choose to use this as drinking water (this cannot be used in winter due to the risk of frost damage). The toilet is of the type "snurredass" and there is a urinal in addition. Soft Lambi toilet paper is included as it is important that only this is used in the toilet :)
