This is the perfect retreat! ✨ The space Your private room has a comfy Cal-King size bed with a light sweeping canopy and a private entrance. This newly refurbished bedroom has a relaxing cozy setting featuring Spanish style wood features, brick floors, a work-desk nook, ample closet + shelving space, and a washer/dryer. It is located on the back side of the property and your entrance is from the outside. I provide fresh fruit + water upon arrival so that you'll feel immediately welcomed and safe. ROOM AMENITIES: - King bed w/ super cushy pillows + sheets + side tables - Dedicated work-desk nook - Mini-Fridge - Toaster Oven - Coffee/tea station - Snacks - Extra blankets and pillows - Closet with built-in shelving + hanging racks - Alarm clock + Ambient noise machine - Wifi - TV with Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime - Steamer for Clothes - Washer & Dryer - Window for natural light and shades to block light (windows open for natural air) - Adjacent to the common areas Next to your room is the dual sink + vanity bathroom. It is fully stocked and has a wonderful shower/soaking tub for a luxurious moment to yourself. -------- During your stay, I will share the bathroom and outdoor deck space with you. SHARED BATHROOM AMENITIES: - Bath towels (large towels, hand towels, washcloths) - Weight scale - Non-slip tub/shower mat - Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and hand soap - Bright lights! - Tissue & toilet paper - Hair dryer -------- People absolutely adore the access to my expansive outdoor living space. There are multiple sitting areas and ways to enjoy the space. Throughout the common space are charming decorative pieces, plants, succulents and little delightful nooks and crannies to explore. You may enjoy a meal or read a book while soaking in the views of the Channel Islands, or sip a glass of wine or cup of tea while taking in a heart-warming sunset, and then end the day soaking in a bubble bath and snuggling in to a comfy bed for a good night of sleep. PLEASE NOTE: >> No phone calls or music on the deck. >> No visitors are allowed at any time other than who is registered upon reservation. >> There is a separate apartment above my space where someone lives and that means you will likely hear hints of noises at times, but seldomly. Please ignore my neighbor, he prefers not to interact with guests. COMMON SPACE AMENITIES: - Outdoor living area - Wifi I live here with my fury side-kick (13 year old mix-breed dog who adopted me when she was 2 months). She is very friendly and loves people. You will run into us coming through the main house to the outdoor deck area. That's great...we love to host you! Guest access Very easy and convenient parking. You'll have access through the main house entrance during the day and your private room entrance at night, the shared dual sink+vanity bathroom (including shower + soaking tub), and the full expansive outdoor living space with gorgeous ocean views. Please enjoy the outdoor living space! NOTE: no phone calls or music on the deck. During your stay It's really up-to-you. I'll be available for any questions or assistance you may need. I enjoy interacting with folks and have met some incredible people from around the globe. Sharing a good conversation and storytelling over a cup of tea is an option if our schedules permit. Don't worry, if for whatever reason socializing and interacting is not your thing...it's all good. You do you. Note, I work from home, so there will be times I need to be in meetings. I'll tuck myself into my workspace when that's the case. I’ll will also let you know. Other things to note Straight out of the house and walking just a few minutes you can find your self on some special hiking trails and basking in an outdoor adventure. Hiking, biking, kayaking, para-sailing, and so much more is available to you very easily. Great easy parking. Ubers or Lifts are also readily available if you prefer. 2 min drive or 12 min walk to Summerland Beach (I've got you covered on beach towels, sun screen, even an umbrella if you'd like) 6 min drive to Montecito 10 min from Downtown Santa Barbara and lots of shops and restaurants!
