Fun, Eco-Friendly B&B by the Sea

We're large enough to be comfortable, yet small enough to care. Renovating Captain's Quarters has been a labour of love, & we've only recently begun to share this special space. Happily, everyone has asked to return! Castletown's attractions are just a short walk away. Enjoy museums, the beautiful harbour, the town square, wildlife walks, or cheer on the intrepid motorbike & tin bath racers. Great transport links, including a Steam Railway, make exploring our beautiful island easy too. The space Captain's Quarters is a private house. The first floor is home to your hosts, Paul and Cheryl (and their Manx cat, Tom). It offers three, ground floor, ensuite bedrooms. This listing allows guests to book 'Fore' the largest and most flexible guest accommodation, which can be enjoyed as a Superking, or as a Twin. The Spaberry 2 person private hot tub can be booked too on a first come first served basis. Guest access In addition to their own rooms, our guests are welcome to utilise other, shared, spaces. For those with transport, the in/out Drive offers generous off-road parking. The Boot Room gives you somewhere to relive yourself of hot, or muddy shoes after a day exploring the island. The Luggage Locker means you don't need to store bulky bags or suitcases in your bedroom. The Games/Dining Room is the perfect social space to relax with fellow guests. The retro kitchen offers you somewhere to store a few groceries or to prepare a cold snack (after midday). An extra WC is provided for your comfort, in case your roommate is hogging the ensuite! The patio and rear garden is a work in progress, but a peaceful place to enjoy a cuppa, or to pick our organic fruit when it's in season. Other things to note We hope to provide our guests with a peaceful place to relax. While we do have one Twin, our rooms are most suited to couples. For this reason, Captain's Quarters is an adult only facility. We do not permit pets, as there is a much-loved Manx cat on the premises. So please, don't book if you have an animal allergy. The price stated here is for our Room Only service. Please contact us to discuss optional extras, including airport transfers, Breakfast, packed lunches or picnics, afternoon tea, use of the Hot Tub or your special occasions. We are here to help, and our goal is for you to leave relaxed, and happy.
