Black Swamp Bunkhouse: Poolside Oasis

“There are some who can live without wild things, and some who cannot.” - Aldo Leopold The Black Swamp Bunkhouse was conceived for those of us who cannot. Nestled in the woods beside the Van Buren State Park, just minutes from downtown Findlay- Its 7 acre grounds host a pasture, a saltwater pool, an expansive outdoor lounge, and a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom heritage barn which can accommodate up to 14 guests. The space On the second story of its unassuming exterior guests are greeted with vaulted cedar ceilings, romantic finishes, and a sprawling open floor plan. Complete with a primary suite and 4 dormer bunk beds, The Bunkhouse is a rare homage to the rustic and the luxurious. Loved for its prolific hydrangea gardens the interior of the Bunkhouse is as picturesque as the landscaping that surrounds it. This private country oasis is ideal for weekend getaways, retreats, work-cations, intimate weddings, bachelor/bachelorette party’s, family reunions, or anyone longing to return to the wild. *Please note that the saltwater pool is a seasonal semi-private amenity shared only by Bunkhouse guests and the property owners. Private pool access may be requested for an additional nightly fee. This season the pool will open on May 15th and close on the 1st of September. *Shopping services available upon request for an additional free. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire second story bunkhouse as well as free Wifi, Roku, parking, and a private washer and dryer. Outside guests have access to the first story patio, the salt water pool, pool cabana, pool bed, the outdoor grill and dining space, and the adjoining pasture. Other things to note We work hard to keep the grounds at the bunkhouse healthy and ask that you aid us in that effort by refraining from picking, tearing, or climbing on any plant life. Additionally, smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes inside the bunkhouse is strictly prohibited.
