Balgowan has a kiosk open most weekends for coffee, drinks, takeaway, fishing needs and general retail, which is only a short walk from the holiday house. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office. There are 2 bathrooms at the holiday house, an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet adjoining the master queen bedroom; and a main bathroom with walk-in shower and sink; plus a separate toilet. The living area is spacious with a large lounge room, kitchen and dining area, with reverse cycle split system air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. The lounge room has sofa seating with a large wall-mounted television (with USB & HDMI ports), and dining seating adjacent to the kitchen. Hali has a well-equipped kitchen with a gas oven and stovetop, microwave, rainwater, large fridge/freezer, and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a range of appliances for guests to use during their stay including airfryer, kettle, toaster, sandwich press and milkshake maker. There is a fully supplied laundry for any length of stay with a front load washing machine and clothes dryer, and a pull-out clothesline in the rear yard. Outside, guests can enjoy the outdoor seating area and the shaded pergola at the rear of the accommodation, with a flat plate gas barbecue. Balgowan's beach is only a 3-minute walk away, and Hali has an outdoor shower for washing off sand and seawater after a day at the beach. Pets are welcome outside at Hali by prior arrangement with Country Getaways, please note the yard is unfenced. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay. For those coming to fish from Balgowan, Hali has fish cleaning facilities and off-street boat parking if bringing a boat; or join a local fishing charter to fish the deeper Spencer Gulf waters. There is off-street driveway parking for up to 3 cars, plus room for a boat; but guests don't have access to the garage. Balgowan has a kiosk open most weekends for coffee, drinks, takeaway, fishing needs and general retail, which is only a short walk from the holiday house. Nearby Maitland has a wide range of shopping and dining options, including a large supermarket, hardware store, chemist, op shops, newsagent, hotels, café and bakery. With a bathroom for each of the bedrooms, Hali is a great option for corporate visitors needing their own space when visiting Yorke Peninsula. Generally, nothing is provided in the way of food items. Guests need to bring their own tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and other food stuffs.
