The Dovecote is a dog-friendly, two-story barn conversion in Seaton, nestled in the Rutland countryside with views of the Welland Valley and Welland Viaduct. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan living/dining area, library, well-equipped kitchen, outdoor dining, utility space and two private parking spaces. Just a short walk away from the village pub, The George & Dragon. Explore Rutland Water and towns like Uppingham, Oakham, Corby and Stamford all within a 20-minute drive.  Sleeping up to 10 guests across four bedrooms (including a family room), with seven beds and three bathrooms, there’s plenty of room for everyone. A travel cot is also available for little ones, making The Ridings a lovely choice for families travelling with young children.
 Step outside and enjoy the peaceful rural surroundings, explore the nearby countryside, visit traditional country pubs or head into the neighbouring market towns of Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford. Whether your days are filled with countryside walks, family adventures or simply relaxing together, The Ridings is all about enjoying the best of rural life at your own pace.

Dogs are very welcome at The Ridings, so there’s no need to leave your four-legged family members behind. With beautiful countryside on your doorstep and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the surrounding area, it’s an ideal base for a dog-friendly getaway.
 Families are equally welcome, with four bedrooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements for adults and children alike. The available travel cot makes travelling with younger guests a little easier, too.

 Whether you're looking for an active outdoor break or a peaceful few days away from the everyday, Rutland offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the slower pace of country living.
 Please be aware that during the shooting season, organised shoots regularly take place around the estate on Saturdays. On these days, access to and exploration of the estate grounds is prohibited while shoots are taking place. We ask all guests to respect these restrictions and follow any instructions provided by the estate.

Bedroom 3: 1x Kings Bed Bedroom 4: 2x Single Beds Travelling with a larger group? The Ridings isn't the only place to stay on the estate. Our other holiday property, The Dovecote, sleeps up to seven guests. If both properties are available for your chosen dates, they can be booked together, making them a great option for larger family gatherings, celebrations or groups who would like to holiday together while having their own separate accommodation.
