This is a non smoking house and we have a 21 yr age requirement. The space Fiddler Crab is a one family-owned retreat and still has the fabulous vintage/retro feel. We are opening our doors to share our love of the Outer Banks. Our 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has a fully stocked kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating, Smart TV & WIFI. Under the house there is a large area to hangout and roll out the Ping Pong table. A front and back deck with seating and porch swings, plenty of space to spread out. Guest access Entire House Other things to note The space -General: Our home features 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full eat in kitchen, a washer and dryer, an outdoor shower, comfortable living space, lots of deck space. There is a 60inch smart tv in the living room. We provide high-quality, cotton bedding, bath towels, bath gel and shampoo. -Beaches: Totally! We are .6 miles (2 min drive) from Hollowell Street Public Beach Access and .9 miles (3 min drive) to Bonnet Street Public Beach Access (both lifeguarded). We also highly recommend beautiful Coquina Beach (15 min south) for fantastic shell hunting and swimming. Additionally, there is a peaceful sound side beach at Jockey's Ridge (1.8 miles/4 minutes’ drive) for lounging, wading or launching a non-motorized watercraft. -Location: The best! You can certainly stay local and access great food, views, beaches, entertainment, and shops all within minutes (some walkable/bikeable). We are .8 miles from the Outer Banks YMCA which offers weekly and daily vacation passes for access to their pools, gym and more. Our central spot in the Outer Banks also makes our home an ideal base for exploring all the OBX has to offer. -Some of Our Favorite Local Places (within 20 miles/25 minutes): Jockey’s Ridge (of course!), quaint, sound front town of Manteo, Jeanette’s Pier, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, Elizabethan Gardens and Duck Town Park Boardwalk. Guest access: Access: You'll have access to the entire house, as well as the driveway and all outdoor space. There is one locked storage closet ground level and one in the back bedroom which are not accessible to guests. -Provided: Dish soap, hand soap, clean sheets, one bath towel per guest, wash cloths, kitchen towels and hand towels. We'll get you started with some toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. The kitchen is stocked with a drip coffee maker and filters, toaster and some cooking basics like oil and spices. Outside: Gas grill, please do not use it under the house and full access to the outdoor shower. -Please Bring: Beach gear, beach towels, extra paper products (septic-safe), shampoo/conditioner, toiletries, and kitchen trash bags. Other things to note Natural Area: Our neighborhood is surrounded by Jockey’s Ridge State Park. Along with the woodsy ambience and coastal climate, you may encounter a natural creature (a bug) from time to time. Though this is uncommon as we keep our home immaculately clean and regularly treated for pests, we want guests to be aware of the full experience that comes with a home in this setting. *Septic System: Sensitive pipes we are on a on septic system.
