The Loft “Sweet”

"The Loft" is a special space…perched in a serene & picturesque neighborhood setting with gorgeous surroundings. A filtered view of Mt. Hood & peek of the city lights of Hood River await you. All the comforts of home are present in this 800 sq ft abode. A private entrance leads to a beautifully appointed open space with vaulted ceilings and a private balcony. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave & hot plate.  Welcome to this special place just one mile from downtown White Salmon. The space "The Loft" is located above a three car garage which is attached to our single family home. It has a private entrance with interior stairway access. At the top of the stairs the landing is flexible as a mud room for wayward shoes or extra luggage space. A barn door separates the landing from the main living area. We define our Loft as an elevated hotel suite experience. It is one large room with vaulted ceilings, large view windows and french doors to access the private balcony. The kitchenette includes a sink, small refrigerator, hot plate, microwave oven and Keurig coffee maker. The full bathroom has a combination tub/shower and walk in closet. The only common wall with the main house is a locked door, otherwise the space has a noise buffer attic area between the main house and "The Loft". At times the automatic garage doors can be heard opening and closing. We also have two dogs who you may see or hear periodically. They like to let us know when someone new arrives! We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please respect our neighbors by driving slow on Westwinds Road and the gravel access to our home. Thank you so much! Guest access "The Loft" has a private entry with interior stairway access. Guests have full use of the space including the private balcony. Other things to note No smoking, no pets please. Although vented to our main home’s central air conditioning, in extreme temperatures it may be necessary to also use the portable swamp cooler and fans we have provided for your use during those hot summer days. ☀️
