Quiet Private Lake House in Elk

Come relax with the whole family at this peaceful lake home on Reflection Lake! Just a short 45 minute drive from Spokane, “Clear Reflections” lake home is on the water with 120+ feet of lake front. Reflection Lake is privately owned and only those who live around the lake or are guests can use it. Recreation activities are stress free and relaxing, as gas powered motors are prohibited on the lake! You will never have to worry about other boaters while enjoying a peaceful paddle down the lake! The space Upon entry to the home, you will be immediately met with an open concept kitchen, dining and living room, with plenty of windows overlooking the yard and lake with sliders, in every east facing room, accessing the large deck. The living room includes plenty of seating with a large powered reclining couch and powered reclining chair. Extra seating is available utilizing the barstools at the kitchen counter. A large 55” flat screen TV is provided with access to various streaming apps accessed by a Roku device on guest mode. A pellet stove in the living room provides extra heat/ambiance (Especially in the winter!) The pellet stove is not the only source of heat, and the house is normally heated/cooled with central heat and central air conditioning. Off of the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. A half bath is also located off of the kitchen. The main floor also includes dual master suites! The master suites are located on opposite sides of the main floor with the open concept Kitchen/Dining/Living being between them. The first master suite contains a king bed and has its own en-suite bathroom with a toilet, jetted tub, walk-in shower, wall heater and walk-in closet. The second master suite has a queen bed, en-suite bathroom with a toilet, walk-in shower and wall heater. Each bedroom on the main floor has its own slider door, providing access to the deck and views of the lake. The expansive deck provides the best place to drink your coffee during the cool hours of the morning or to enjoy the sun set after a long day of playing in the lake! A large gazebo shades a cozy sectional providing a great place to escape the sun while enjoying the lakeside views! Also on the deck is a large cabana that is perfect for lounging in the sun. Take the stairs by the front door down to the daylight basement and have access to a kitchenette, another bathroom, and a third bedroom. The kitchenette has a full size fridge, microwave, sink and a breakfast nook. Off of the kitchenette there is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a second laundry room with another washer and dryer. The basement bedroom contains a queen bed and temperature controlled space heater. There is a small living room in the basement that has a small twin size sofa bed, work space and a 47” flat screen TV with another Roku device giving access to most streaming apps! Access to the two car garage is provided through the basement. Guests will have access to the garage and are more than welcome to park any vehicles inside! Any complimentary kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat, and rented electric motor and battery will be stored in the garage for guest check-in. A sliding glass door in the basement will take you to the patio under the deck. The patio has chairs and tables for relaxing but the best part is the HOT TUB! Located under the deck, on the basement patio, the hot tub is in the perfect location and provides plenty of privacy while providing breathtaking views of the lake! Leading down from the patio, take the staircase down to the yard, fire pit, beach area and then the lake! Here you will find the aluminum boat and a fire pit with a two seater metal swing. We do not provide firewood, but some can be brought or bought at some small stores, about 7-10 minutes away. We encourage guests to bring extra camp/beach chairs as we do not provide any. Recreation Equipment Please enjoy the paddle boat, paddle board, two sit on kayaks and a 12 foot aluminum boat! The aluminum boat has oars, however a battery and electric motor can be provided for an additional $200 dollar, $50 of which is non-refundable. A set of cornhole boards can be found in the garage for use in the yard! Beach towels can be found in the basement bathroom vanity. Please keep in mind that there is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY and any use of recreation equipment (i.e kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, row/electric powered boats), hot tub, fire pit, beach, electric motor, and battery is done so at your own risk. Parking We have a large concrete and gravel area outside the two car garage for parking of vehicles. The garage can be utilized by guests to park vehicles, however, upon arrival guests will find any requested/rented recreation equipment stored in the garage. We encourage guests to invite any friends or family that have an RV or Trailer as there is plenty of room to park most size (35 Ft. or shorter) RV’s and Trailers. Underneath the deck there is a 4 prong 50 AMP RV outlet that guests can utilize. A 3-prong to 4-prong adaptor is NOT provided so if any guests bring an RV they will be responsible for making sure they have the correct adaptors. Please see the provided picture in the listing to ensure you have the correct plug before arriving. Only an electric hook up is provided for RV’s/trailers. Water and Sewer hookups are NOT provided. Any release/discharge of sewage on or near the property will be provided to the authorities. Due to the layout of the lot and the house, people who have trouble navigating stairs may find it difficult to make their way through the house and down to the lake. Please reach out and express any accessibility concerns and I will see what can be done to help mitigate them before your stay. Guest access There are three areas of the house off limits to guests. They are the lockers in the upstairs laundry room, the closet in the downstairs laundry room, and the shed outside. Other than these three areas, the entire yard, house and garage are opened for guests to use. Other things to note Dogs are welcome, however please refrain from allowing them onto any furniture or beds. The yard is not completely fenced in. There are areas that dogs can escape from the back. So if your animal is known to wander please bring ways for you to tie your dogs up. Our home runs on a community well system. The water is safe to drink and is tested regularly by a certified water treatment plant operator, but bring filtered water if you prefer. Power outages are not frequent but can happen in inclement weather or unforeseen accidents. Without power means no heat/cooling/water. Please notify me if the power is out and we will see what accommodations can be made. No refunds are given for occasional power outages so please come prepared. A generator is on site in the event of an outage and the pellet stove can be run using the generator if needed. There are multiple operational security cameras located around the house. The cameras only operate between 10PM and 8AM during your stay. It records visually and audibly. The cameras watch the front door, garage doors and back shed approach. There are no cameras inside the home and we take privacy seriously. Please note this house is in a rural area, there are no delivery services available. You will need to drive at least 7 minutes along to any nearby rural/convenience type stores. The routes to the house from both directions are paved bus routes and are navigable in all weather conditions. However, a front-wheel-drive with snow tires or an all-wheel-drive/ four wheel drive with all seasons are recommended during winter as the area does receive snow.
