Bunnyconnellen Farmhouse & Hillview Cottage

Bunnyconnellen, one of SE Queensland's hidden gems. With past lives as a dairy farm, then an olive grove & winery, the original farm buildings have been charmingly restored to suit their latest role as a bespoke accommodation and events venue situated on 250 acres of uninterrupted views. The accommodation consists of the 1880's farm house plus self-contained cottage, both renovated to include all of life's luxuries, yet maintaining authentic characteristics which tell stories of years gone by. The space You booking includes access to both The Farmhouse (sleeps 6) & Hillview Cottage (sleeps 2). The main house is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom farmhouse which consists of a full kitchen with a 6 burner gas stove and large oven, along with a Breville espresso machine, vintage crockery and plenty of sun-drenched nooks to enjoy your morning coffee. With 2 living areas & 2 dining spaces, there is ample space for the entire family to enjoy. Cosy up next to the wood fire stove, chill out with a good book, stream a movie on the 60" TV, or help yourself to the collection of boardgames. Hillview Cottage is a private self-contained studio cottage, consisting of a Queen Bed, bathroom with shower over bath, wood fire stove, and kitchenette with Nespresso machine. Wander the extensive award-winning gardens, help yourself to an abundant pottager garden, and say hello to the resident merino sheep. Guests will have access to the magnesium lap pool with sun loungers and outstanding private views of the rolling hills of the High Country. A full laundry with washer and dryer is available for guests. A pull out queen couch can be made available upon request for bookings exceeding 6 guests - additional fees apply. Guest access Guests will have access to both Hillview Cottage & The Farmhouse, as well as the pool, fire pit, outdoor bathtub, immediate gardens, olive grove and lawns. Guests do not have access to any other external buildings, included dining space, chapel, bar or commercial kitchen, unless a function has been booked with Bunnyconnellen management. Access to sheds and farm paddocks is strictly prohibited. Strictly no parties, camping, or entertaining allowed. Only those guests listed on the booking may have access to the accommodation at any time. No outside guests permitted. For wedding preparations - only those listed on the booking as guests are permitted to get ready in the accommodation. Wedding preparation vendors such as photographers, make up artists and hair stylists are permitted with prior approval by Bunnyconnellen management and must supply a copy of each individual’s Public Liability Certificate of Currency within 14 days of the reservation. Bunnyconnellen is a working farm surrounded by nature. Bandicoots, pademelons, possums, koala's, echidna's and other wildlife frequent the surrounding gardens. Please keep screen doors closed at all times to avoid unwanted visitors. To book a private function at Bunnyconnellen during your stay, please contact management upon booking.
