There is a good sized kitchen with seating for 4, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The living room has seating for 4 with a stone fireplace and wood burning stove. There is a TV and DVD player and selection of DVDs, books and games. There is also small private courtyard with table a chairs. Well Cottage dates back to the 17th Century when it was a weavers cottage and is named after the well that is still located in the undercroft today. Located in the quiet village of Beckington, Well Cottage is ideally situated for visits to Bath, Frome, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole plus several National Trust properties including Stourhead and Cley Hill. Beckington has 2 pubs and an award winning farm shop, White Row, which also has a fish and chip shop and cafe. There is also a 24hr M&S food shop at the local petrol station. Other things to note There is on-street parking outside the cottage in a lay-by.
