Sheriff's Tower Cottage (West)

This cottage is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. This fresh, recently refurbished cottage sits on Silver Street, yards from the original walls of Auckland Palace. The space Sheriff’s Tower Cottage – West is ideally located just around the corner from all the other popular attractions on Market Place. Originally part of the old alms-houses, you will find clever touches amongst the sharp, modern interior which serve as reminders of this heritage. From the bedrooms, the cottage boasts views north to green fields and the countryside of County Durham. To the rear stands Auckland Tower, from where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the whole town. Guest access We provide a meet and greet service for check in between 3pm and 6pm. Outside of these hours you will be given access instructions to the property via a key box. Other things to note 4 people (2 bedrooms) Meet and Greet Check-in 3pm-6pm / Check-out by 11am Dogs welcome for an additional charge of £25 per pet (up to 2) A £300.00 security deposit will be temporarily held on your credit card prior to check-in. This is not a charge but a pre-authorisation. The hold will be released after check-out, once we've confirmed that the property is in good condition.
