Our 2BR New Paltz home has been eclectically furnished with modern and vintage items from throughout NY and New England collected over 20 years. Gas grill, fire pit, hot tub and outdoor table for dining outside! Hiking trails and kayak launches nearby, nestled halfway between the accessible convenience of New Paltz, Rosendale, and Kingston. The space When you pull down our inclined driveway you'll be greeted to a private view of lush, state-protected wetland forest. Access our tiered wraparound deck to take a lay on our lounge chairs or walk down by the fire pit to soak up 360 degree views of nature, beautiful all season round. Inside our house you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, part of a great room that includes dining for six and a cozy living area. Sit on either side of the L-shaped sofa for a view of the fireplace or a look at our 65" smart TV. Head upstairs and choose between two bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds and vintage Ekornes loungers. On the left is a room with the charms of yesteryear, featuring accordion lamp sconces with paper shades for cozy night reading. On the right you'll find a neutral palette with mellow ambience thanks to salt lamp night lights and a fiddle leaf fig. Both rooms have blackout shades and dedicated heating/cooling units to ensure everyone gets a good night's sleep. Back out to the sunroom rounds out your visit with views of nature—we are often visited by deer, rabbits, woodchucks, owls, and even the occasional fox or coyote! Listen for the sounds of cardinals, bluejays and a symphony of other birds as you relax in our bamboo Adirondack chairs with custom upholstery and a matching sofa. Or head on to the wrap-around deck for nightcap in our 4-person hot tub. Guest access The basement and back room is private; please use our front door entrance. Other things to note Heat and Air Conditioning throughout the house year round. Individual units can be found in the dining room and in each bedroom. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms throughout. A queen-sized air mattress is available. Wifi available throughout property, including porch and deck.
