Renovated comfy barn by the river Cher

The barn has been recently renovated to provide 2 bedrooms, a large open-planned kitchen sitting room area as well as a bathroom. It is a double height barn with exposed beams. The rooms have all been renovated with care There are plenty of opportunities for cycling, walking and canoeing along the Cher From the train station 15 minutes away, you will be able to get to central Paris in less than an hour on the fast direct TGV The space The old barn is attached to our house but has its own entrance and is completely separate and private. One side of the barn gives on a garden area with table and chairs and the car park. This is an enclosed area which we also use to park our car. The other side of the barn gives onto our garden. If ever you wish to open the windows just note you may have the nose of a friendly dog peeking through. If you mind dogs it would be best to keep them closed on that side of the house. We have a travel cot available if needed Other things to note The Cher is just across the road and you can join the scenic and calm cycle route “Cher à Vélo” from our house, as well as the well-known “Loire a vélo” from Montlouis-sur-Loire (10-15 minute bike ride) There are many wineries in the areas, including the world renowned Vouvray wine, offering plenty of opportunities for wine tasting. Perfectly situated to visit the beautiful Loire valley chateaux including Chenonceaux , Amboise, Villandry within 30 minutes drive Tours, a vibrant and picturesque city, is a 20’ drive away or 30’ bike ride along the Cher
