About this place Discover our teepee tent in the forest with private access to the river. The tent overlooks the Oloron river, nestled in the heart of a 2-hectare forest. Perfect for nature lovers looking for peace and quiet. A little piece of heaven by the river. There is only one teepee tent in the entire forest. The space The tent is perfect for two people and has a small outdoor area surrounded by nature where you can barbecue or enjoy your morning coffee. Linens are included for all reservations. A barbecue and firewood are also provided. (Please note that you will need to bring your own charcoal for the barbecue.) Facilities such as dry toilets, a shower, as well as an equipped outdoor kitchen (fridge, pots, burners, dishes) are 200 meters from the tent and will be private. Electricity is also available in this area. Our home is located 300 m from the sanitary facilities. We may spend the day near the teepee to go to the river, but apart from us, you will be alone in the forest. The rental we offer is part of an environmentally friendly approach. Located in the Natura 2000 area, on the banks of the Gave d'Oloron, it is located on a preserved natural site on a plot including an old 18th century mill that we have renovated by focusing on traditional and ecological techniques. True to our values, we have built a terrace from sustainable materials: Landes pine and acacia poles directly from our plot, as well as reused oak joists. For accommodation, we opted for an organic cotton tent. The mattress is made of natural materials, coconut fiber. This project reflects our concrete commitment to a more responsible and harmonious tourism with its environment. In order to contribute to the preservation of the exceptional environment in which you will stay, we are committed to donating 1% of the income generated by rentals each year to associations working for the protection of the environment. Guest access Parking is located close to the common area, and the tent is located 200 meters along a trail.
