The Yellow House

The YELLOW HOUSE is a free-standing studio-type house in a quiet neighborhood in Sta. Monica, but not far from the city center. At the end of a small private road it is indeed a sanctuary of peace. Only 20 minutes from the airport, it is readily accessible even by public transportation. The YELLOW HOUSE is a modern, minimalist, well-ventilated house. It is ideal for up to one or two adults with one or two children who are looking for some quiet time. The space The YELLOW HOUSE is surrounded by green with a great view of the mountains. Car rental services are available just outside the airport; referral to our often-contacted service is also possible. Parking space is available on the premises. It is ideal for up to one or two adults with one or two children who are looking for some quiet time, but with the city center also not far away. Aloha (where organic vegetables, bread and cheese are available) is just a 10-minute walk up Mitra Road and famous Baker’s Hill just 2 minutes farther. Offered as a haven without wifi, this service is nevertheless possible; when wished for, a pocket wifi can be provided. Amenities include a queen-size bed, ensuite bathroom and toilet, a dining table with 2 wooden chairs, a working desk with chair, a couch, a storage shelf and a desk fan. The small balcony towards the sunset contains the cooking corner with a 2-burner gas stove. Cooking utensils and dinnerware are available. A mat is available for comfortable lying down or sitting on the wooden floor, also an additional mattress for children. There is a water kettle, a small French press and a Tulip tabletop water filter. The house has an ecologically sound wastewater system, thus biodegradable dishwashing solution and Perla soap are provided. All proceeds of renting out the YELLOW HOUSE go to the NGO Koberwitz1924 which is run by Walter and Grace. They live just up the stone walkway and, if around, will gladly say hello or give you some insight in their current work. Guest access The whole house and surrounding is for guests to use.
