Luxurious Garden Oasis & Rooftop in La Paz

Looking for long-term stays who want to enjoy the best of living & working in Bajaj while my job has me in Europe for an extended period. Will miss my lovely home but want to let someone else enjoy my little oasis in my absence. I've worked hard to create an environment with just the right balance of energy. From the decor to the outdoor spaces to everything curated to make your time here an amazing adventure and sacred respite. Enjoy Baja with high-end comfort when you're at home! The space My home has tile floors throughout and high ceilings with wood beams and brick ceilings, making the home feel spacious and roomy. Every room has it’s own air conditioner, with individually controlled units in each bedroom, as well as the living room and kitchen. The home is located in La Posada, one of the most desirable La Paz neighborhoods. It's quiet, quaint, and off the beaten tourist path. The neighborhood dogs do bark sometimes or you can hear children playing during the day - but I've provided a white noise machine to ensure noises outside don't bother your focus or sleep. The Living Room is a spacious area immediately inside the front door, and featuring 13-foot high walls, wooden support beams, brick ceilings, and lots of natural light from the attached back patio. There is comfortable seating and foot rests - plenty of options to move around to mix up the remote work spot for the day or get comfy and plan out your Baja adventures. The Guest Bedroom is slightly elevated - up 5 stairs - with its own en suite bathroom. The shower has a glass door and pebble shower floor with a rainhead shower and hand wand. Fluffy towels and bathrobe provided as well. The bed has a memory foam mattress and down alternative duvet -- with lots of pillows. In the room there are lamps and warm lighting to ensure you can set the tone for your room and easily maintain your morning and nightly routines. There is a adjustabloe standing desk and swivel pleather office chair as well as an armchair. I've decorated with lots of textures and tranquil colors to create just the right environment for creativity and productivity when you need it and decompressing and rest when you're ready. A ceiling fan and AC unit are in the room to ensure your spot is kept at the best temperature for you - day or night. The Kitchen has been completely renovated and has gorgeous floor to ceiling cabinets, and elegant backsplash and new countertops, a copper sink. I have a gas stove & vent fan, a full bar set up, high-end espresso machine, electric tea kettle, high-end blender, chef's knives, and high-quality pots and pans. I love to cook and eat healthy so I make sure my guests have access to everything I would want to do the same. The Dining Area is part of an open floor plan and sits between the kitchen and living room. I have dining linens, chargers, white dishes, and placemats to ensure your meals are as fancy or simple as you'd like. Various wine and beverage glasses provided to ensure your have a perfect pour whatever you choose to drink. My rooftop has been recently renovated to include a freestanding shaded pergola area with outdoor sofa and chaise. There are 2 sun loungers and an umbrella as well as an elliptical machine if you want to exercise early before it gets too hot. This a beautiful spot to work, have a glass of wine, or just chill while the sun is setting (or rising :) The courtyard out front just inside the gate has solid walls to provide privacy from the street and a large shade umbrella covering most of the space as well. More plants, a small table and two chairs, as well as a swing chair makes this another tranquil spot to chill or work. Parking is available inside the gate if you have a car. I also provide a bike and helmet. I'm about a block from an amazing bike path that. takes you close to the supermarket, convenience store, and the start of the Malecon. A beautiful plant-filled patio just outside of the living room has a bistro table, sofa, and 2 comfy chairs as well as an umbrella for shade. At night the strands of lights create a beautiful atmosphere to sit under the stars or even enjoy a meal on the patio. There is an outdoor fan to keep this space cool in the summer too. I love this are of Baja and the home I've created here in La Paz. I look forward to sharing it with others who are looking for a set up like the one I've created for working and playing here. I feel like it's getting to have the best of Baja when you can stay here for awhile, enjoying some simple luxuries in life, and experience all this beautiful city and area has to offer. Around Me: 5 blocks from the beach - great for walking and sunsets, you might sunbathe here and while you can swim, I have better ones I recommend 10 blocks from the best local gym - best because it has AC 4 blocks from day usage of a beautiful pool and view at La Posada hotel 35 minutes from the mesmerizing turquoise waters of Playa Balandra and Tecelote. 15 minutes to La Paz Airport and 2 hours from SJD (the Cabo Airport) Nearby Towns I Love to Frequent Include: La Ventana - El Sargento Todos Santos - Pescadero - Cerritos About the Malecon: Please note that while only 12 blocks away that is approx. 1 mile away from our Casita. An Uber is typically $2-4 USD from our home or a short 5 min. ride in your own vehicle. It's not a bad walk at all - and walking's good for us🙂 but don't be surprised that you are a little outside of the immediate hustle and bustle of the Malecon. Guest access When you rent the whole space, my bedroom is closed off but the rest of the house is all yours and I will not be at home or sharing the space with you. You'll have the guest bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom, arm chair, storage, and adjustable standing desk and office chair.
