Delaware water gap (if you have older adults with you, I do not reccomend this one as it is extremely hilly based on other guests experiences but it’s STUNNING ) 5. Hickory Run State Park Guest access - Guests will have access to the entire home. The first floor is the main attraction as it is an open spacious layout including the living room, kitchen and 3 bedrooms+ 1.5 bathrooms. The second floor nestles a master bedroom with a private full bathroom. - I have worked SO SO hard for this home as it is my first big girl purchase. It is also a vacation home for my family and I to enjoy. Please treat it with tender, love and care like you would your own home. The Stillwater Escape is located within Stillwater Estates, a private, gated community with 24-hour security, offering a peaceful and nature-filled retreat in the heart of the Poconos. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay, please review the following important information prior to arrival: ⸻ 🏡 Community Access & Amenities Before your arrival, you will be required to complete a short HOA registration form for access and amenity badges. • Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle • Amenity Wristbands: $8 per guest • These must be purchased in advance and cannot be obtained during your stay. Amenity wristbands are required for access to shared spaces such as: • Lake • Basketball courts • Ball field • Other community areas Please note: Security actively enforces these rules, and fines may be issued for non-compliance. ⸻ 🧺 What’s Provided For your comfort, we provide: • Fresh linens & bedding • Toilet paper & paper towels (starter supply) • Shampoo, conditioner & body wash • Trash bags If additional supplies are needed beyond what is provided, guests are responsible for purchasing them. ⸻ 🧼 Cleaning Fee Breakdown The cleaning fee includes: • Professional cleaning services • Property Management Fee • Hot tub maintenance • Trash removal • HOA community rental fees ⸻ 🎣 Fishing & Outdoor Activities • Fishing is permitted with a community wristband • A valid Pennsylvania fishing license is required for guests 16+ • Licenses can be purchased locally (e.g., Walmart) Community rules: • Catch & release only • No fishing near the swim area • Approved fishing areas include the jetty (left side) and near the playground (far right) Please note: Fishing equipment is not provided. ⸻ 🔥 Outdoor Essentials To keep flexibility for all guests: • Propane is not provided (leftover tanks may be used if available) • Firewood/fire logs are not provided • Guests are welcome to purchase locally or gather responsibly from the yard ⸻ 💧 Septic & Well Water System The home operates on a well and septic system, which is common in the Poconos. You may notice: • Slight discoloration from iron in the water • Variations in water pressure if multiple systems are running simultaneously This does not affect water safety or cleanliness, only appearance. Additionally: • Between 2–4 AM, the system may run maintenance cycles, which can briefly impact water pressure. ⸻ 🚫 House Rules (Strictly Enforced) To maintain the integrity of the home and community: • No day guests (no exceptions) • No parties or events • No fireworks, ATVs, or motorized water equipment • Please do not turn off or misuse the hot tub • Keep the cover on when not in use • Do not add any substances to the water ⸻ 🐾 Pet Policy We happily welcome pets under the following guidelines: • $195 per pet, per stay • Maximum of 2 pets • Pets must be under 40 lbs Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets. Failure to comply may result in additional fees (up to $500 for damages or excessive cleaning). ⸻ 🌲 Nature & Wildlife You are staying in a wooded area, so wildlife is part of the experience (bugs, spiders, spider webs, deers, bears, etc). • Do not feed or approach animals • Keep food secured • Dispose of trash properly to avoid attracting wildlife ⸻ ⏰ Late Check Out • $30/ per hour additional ⸻ ⚠️ Weather Advisory The Poconos is known for its beautiful yet unpredictable weather. Occasionally, storms or snowfall may cause: • Power outages • Service interruptions While we do our best to prepare the home, these events are beyond our control. We recommend considering travel insurance for added peace of mind as we do NOT have a generator • Snow removal is provided prior to check-in for snowfall over 3 inches • Shovels and salt are available for guest use ⸻ 🎾 Community Amenities Disclaimer While guests have access to community amenities, please note: We do not control: • Scheduling • Maintenance • Closures or repairs Therefore, we cannot guarantee availability during your stay. ⸻ ✨ A Final Note Our goal is to provide you with a seamless, relaxing, and memorable experience.
