Located in the legendary residence of the Auberge de La Vieille Tour, this studio offers all comfort and magnificent view on the Caribbean sea and the Ilet du Gosier. Ideally located to visit the island (Terre-de-Haut, Basse-Terre) and for a first or last night in Guadeloupe as at a convenient distance to the airport, this studio is at a walking distance to several beaches and restaurants. The beach below the studio is ideal for leasure and relaxation. Yes this is paradise on earth! The space Guests can use the full 40m2 studio as well as the beach below. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, induction stove and a large choice of silverware. The shower area is wide and comfortable. The toilet is separated from the bathroom. The couch can be opened to bed 2 persons. (We can also provide a baby bed if needed). Guest access The beach below the property is accessible for all. Long chairs are available for free on the right “elevated” side of the beach for our guests. (Chairs on the left side below are for guests of the hotel... unless you pay their fee). There is a tennis court available for our guests next to the parking of the Residence. The swimming pool however belongs to the hotel and might be used with an access fee. The hotel has been very inconsistent on this, as to let outsiders use their premisses . Therefore, as a general rule and to manage expectations, we prefer to mention that this is not accessible. You can also have your drinks, breakfasts and meals at the hotel restaurants and bar following hotel charges and conditions. Other things to note (English version available below, after French version). FRENCH: La Residence is located in a quiet and secure property. It is built on a small hill that goes down to the sea. People with limited mobility could be inconvenienced by this configuration (stairs). Please also note that Guadeloupe suffers from a poor pipeline (water), which causes frequent cuts. The municipalities are assigned in turn, according to a schedule that can be found on the SIAEAG website: https://www.siaeag.fr/index.php/network-alert. That's why we always have bottles filled with water in the studio, to meet basic needs in such cases. ENGLISH: The residence is located in a beautiful and peaceful hilly property facing the sea, so that guest having difficulty walking might find it inconvenient in some areas (stairs). Kindly note also that the island of Guadeloupe is suffering from a defective and old water pipe network which impacts water supply and results in recurrent water shutdowns.
