We offer a year-round wooden guest house, located in the Elbląg Upland Landscape Park. We spent a lot of time in it, enjoying the peace and the magic of the forest. We designed it for a comfortable stay for 2 people. We offer a bedroom, a living room with a kitchen and a covered terrace. It is a paradise for introverts or an ideal place for remote work in the bosom of nature. Let this place in the forest become your private sanctuary, a place where time slows down... The space The cottage has an area of 32 sq m, stands alone on a 4000 sq m plot with trees. It has a bedroom and a large living room with a kitchenette. There is also a bathroom with a shower and water from its own intake, heated in a 30l boiler. The kitchenette is equipped with basic dishes, pots, pans and cutlery. We provide bed linen and towels. Outside the summer season, the HOUSE IS HEATED BY A STOVE/FIREPLACE, guests burn it themselves. Please use the heating in an eco-friendly way, do not turn on the air conditioning with the windows open and/or the fireplace lit. Additional equipment: Bathroom: Tourist washing machine, foldable dryer, steamer, hair dryer. Kitchen: water jug with filter, airfryer, electric kettle, induction cooker for 2 burners, small fridge, cutlery, set of dishes for 4 people (cups, plates of various sizes, bowls, glasses, glasses), 2 pans, 2 pots with lids, induction coffee maker. Living room: books, chess, dominoes, flashlights, umbrella, beach umbrella, charger and cables with different tips, JBL speaker, badminton, hammock to hang, binoculars for bird and animal watching. Terrace: charcoal grill and kindling. Guest access The cottage is available in its entirety for our guests, along with a terrace and a place for a bonfire. Other things to note HEATING: Out of the summer season, the COTTAGE IS HEATED BY A GOAT/FIREPLACE. We provide enough fuel for the entire stay (a pack of briquettes per day), but you have to burn it yourself - if necessary, we will train you. In the event of higher consumption, please purchase additional fuel yourself. Guests collect firewood themselves in the forest — like at a camp :) WATER: Due to its secluded location in the woods, we only have water from our own well. It is not urban water from the water supply, it has quite a strong smell. We use it on a daily basis, it is tested. For your comfort, we've provided a filtering pitcher. However, if the taste of the water doesn't match you, we suggest consuming bottled water. DOGS on property: The cottage is on a tree-lined plot of 4000m2, but it is not fenced. We live two lots away, so our dogs, Uri and Tori, run around the area during the day. There may be a time when they will visit you:) Uri is very social, Tori needs time to make friends. In general, they do their dog business, such as encouraging lizards to play, or dig pits. We put a gate on the deck so they didn't impose too much. Because of Tori, we have to give up hosting your dogs, unfortunately it's too much to experience :( GENERAL: Please note that this is a cottage in the woods. In the morning you can have forest ants in the bread, mason wasps will try to nest on the terrace, insects fly, a bat may hide in the chimney, and a shrew will not be able to get out of the sink, birds sing - at night too ;) Although we try to clean the house as best we can, some spiders are fast and can lay mosquito traps just before your arrival. We also have a couple of badgers on the premises, a fox and deer regularly visit us, sometimes moose and wolves. In autumn, the deer bulls give a concert, which is a disturbing sound for the unaccustomed. If you plan to walk in the surrounding forests, bring proper shoes, it is not an urban park but a commercial forest, even though it is a Landscape Park, with rutted forest roads and overgrown paths of small animals.
