Located in the atmospheric port city of Delfzijl, this unique accommodation has three charming rooms and a spacious common room. The church is located in the heart of the city center and is within walking distance of the harbor and train station. Experience an unforgettable overnight stay in this historic and characterful accommodation The space The Balcony Room Welcome to the Balcony Room, one of three beautifully renovated bedrooms in the historic Singelkerkje. This romantic room on the upper floor combines historic elegance with modern comfort. Features: High vaulted ceiling Antique washbasin Comfortable lounge chairs Located on the top floor Facilities: Nespresso coffee machine Kettle Provided with coffee, tea, milk and cookies The bathroom is shared with the Cloakroom and is located on the ground floor. Enjoy the charming ambiance and historical details while relaxing in this unique and cozy room. Please keep in mind that the days are getting colder, so bring a warm sweater! Given the age and no insulation, it is not possible to heat it. Other things to note 🏛️ Common Space in the Chapel The common area in the Singelkerkje offers a unique and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and socializing. This spacious hall, which was once the church hall, retains much of its original charm and architectural details. 🏡 Features: • Spacious Open Layout: The room offers enough space for all guests to sit and relax comfortably. • Wooden Barrel Vault Ceiling: The beautiful wooden barrel vault ceiling adds a historic and warm ambiance to the space. • Plenty of Natural Light: The dormer windows provide plenty of natural light, making the space feel bright and inviting. • Sitting area: There is a cozy sitting area furnished with comfortable chairs and sofas, ideal for reading, talking or simply relaxing. • Dining area: A separate dining area where guests can enjoy their meals. There is a microwave, fridge, toaster and egg cooker available for guests. CANNOT BE COOKED! • Facilities: • Tea and Coffee: A coffee and tea station with a selection of coffee, tea, milk and cookies. The church is therefore also little to no insulation from 1926 and closed from October to April. The common area cannot be heated. There is a kitchen,but cannot and should not be cooked. 🚲 Free Bikes • We offer our guests free bicycles to use during their stay. • Please let us know in advance if you would like to reserve them, and we will make sure they are ready for you. 🌿 Garden At the rear of the church, there is a charming garden where guests can relax, enjoy a cup of coffee or simply unwind in a peaceful and relaxing environment.
