The space La Sirena features a fresh aquatic and maritime theme throughout, creating a light, bright and relaxed coastal atmosphere. The home is private, spacious and well suited to families, couples and friends, while still feeling cosy and easy to enjoy year-round. One of its biggest advantages is its location — just a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive to Beach 4. Facing away from quiet Atherton Drive, the property is unusually private for the area, offering a strong sense of tranquillity, brightness and an elevated outlook that guests consistently appreciate. The rear of the house accommodates three generous bedrooms, all with ceiling fans: Bedroom 1: King bed (sleeps 2) Bedroom 2: Queen bed (sleeps 2) Bedroom 3: Bunk bed plus double bed (sleeps 4) There is a main bathroom with shower, basin and toilet, plus a second indoor toilet for convenience. In addition, guests can enjoy an outdoor hot and cold shower/bath, ideal after a day at the beach. A separate laundry includes a washing machine and dryer. The heart of the home is a welcoming open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area that flows seamlessly onto a large, north-facing timber deck. The deck features a comfortable outdoor couch seating up to six people, along with an outdoor table and chairs — perfect for relaxed meals or evening drinks. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and cooktop, fridge/freezer and essential cooking items. Thanks to its north-facing aspect and large windows, the house is filled with natural light throughout the day. A prominent wood heater creates a warm, cosy atmosphere in cooler months, while a newly installed reverse-cycle air-conditioning system keeps the home comfortable during summer. Outside, you’ll also find an undercover table tennis table, a rear yard suitable for children to play, and a lovely native garden setting. The property is fenced; however, as is common in Venus Bay, we recommend checking the perimeter on arrival before letting pets into the garden, as local wombats occasionally create gaps under fences. Please note: our driveway is unsealed and on an incline, with trees on one side and the house on the other. It adds to the privacy of the property, but parking can be tight for larger 4WDs and it isn’t suitable for boats. There is, however, ample street parking available on Atherton Road.
