Experience a 1695 farmhouse!
Description
Large guest room in a 1695 farmhouse, typical of Lozère, built entirely of stone and lauze (traditional stone slate), with an inner courtyard, private terrace, and beautiful natural surroundings. This warm and welcoming house has been tastefully renovated to a high standard. Nestled in a cool, verdant valley at the edge of the forest, the property features a stream and a large waterfall, as well as an old mill and direct access to hiking trails. Accessible by train, direct from Nîmes. The space Large, welcoming kitchen shared with the host. Large separate bathroom with a bathtub. One large bedroom features two double beds and an alcove bed. The spacious living room has armchairs and a sofa, offering cosy evenings by the fireside. The yoga room lets you meditate while gazing at the mountain. If there are more than 8 of you, you can also rent our other Airbnb for 4 additional guests, on the other side of the courtyard. Guest access All the comforts you need (soda maker, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, projector, etc.). Guests have exclusive use of the bathroom. Only the kitchen is shared. Other things to note Make the most of the surroundings for hiking, mountain biking, trout fishing, and swimming in the very cold river — 10°C all year round. (Cold water helps with rejuvenation, or so I hope, at least in my case.) Accessible by train, direct from Nîmes, and the station is 5 minutes away. We're located a few kilometres from the shops. If there are more than 8 of you, you can also rent our other Airbnb for 4 additional guests, on the other side of the courtyard.
