A house Blooming in the Desert
Description
Welcome to our Desert Oasis, nestled along the mountain corridor and adjacent to the scenic RIVER WALK. Less than 100 yards from your doorstep lies beach-like sand, beckoning you to take leisurely strolls or enjoy biking and walking adventures. Surrounding the property are majestic 50-foot pine trees, adding a touch of sweetness to your desert retreat. Enjoy easy access to UofA, TMC, UMC, Downtown, Tucson Mall, and nearby bike and walking paths, ensuring you experience Tucson in all its splendor The space 🌿 A Cottage on a Mini Farm Large pine and eucalyptus trees surround the property, with grapevines lining the entrance and citrus and fruit trees hugging the house. The cottage sits on a small working mini-farm where you’ll experience a bit of country charm during your stay. There are multiple animals on the property that guests are welcome to meet and enjoy. 🐾 Dogs: We operate a small dog-sitting service on site, so you may see or hear several friendly dogs during the day. They are very sweet but will bark at activity, as dogs do. They are secured in designated areas and are brought inside overnight from 9pm–8am. If you love dogs and enjoy a lively, real-life farm setting, you’ll likely feel right at home here. If you are highly sensitive to barking or looking for complete silence, this may not be the ideal fit. 🐓 Other Animals: Chickens and sheep are also part of the property and may occasionally make noise. We provide fans, white noise machines, and ear plugs for added comfort, and we’re always happy to coordinate quiet windows when possible — just let us know in advance. Our goal is to make sure this is the right environment for you so your stay is exactly what you’re hoping for. Guest access You will have access to the entire guesthouse which has its own fenced in yard, private courtyard and two porches with seating. There are friendly farm animals in the host's back yard adjacent to the guest house yard (pig, tortoise, dogs, sheep, chickens, horses). We are happy to give you a tour of the farm and introduce you to the animals. Just message us to set up a time. Other things to note This home is located in a unique farming pocket within the city. There are farm animals on the property and on neighboring properties, so you may hear natural early-morning sounds as the animals start their day. To help ensure a comfortable stay, we provide earplugs, fans, and white noise machines for your use. We are happy to welcome pets! If you plan to bring one, please add your pet to the reservation and include the appropriate pet fee. If your animal is a service animal, kindly let us know in advance so we can avoid any confusion. You may also see local wildlife passing through the yard from time to time — including bunnies, javelina, bobcats, hawks, owls, and other desert visitors.
