Looking for a quiet retreat after visiting one of our local Universities? Need a peaceful space to rest after hiking or exploring the Blue Ridge? Visiting family in the area & want a private place to yourself? This rustic but modern camper is located on our small homestead in Madison Heights. Just 15 minutes from downtown Lynchburg, you’ll have the convenience of the city with the privacy of our farm. The Blue Ridge parkway, hiking trails, & swimming areas are only 14 miles from your doorstep. The space While this space will have all you may need, it is also minimalistic & simple. One or two people can be accommodated only. If you don’t like small spaces or enjoy spending time outside, this may not be the place for you. Inside our 24ft camper you’ll find a full sized bed with fresh linens, full bathroom with a stand up shower, heating & AC, and a dinette area. The kitchen is stocked with a small fridge, hot plate, microwave, sink, dishes/cook wear, & coffee maker. Outside you’ll be treated with a fire ring & plenty of wood (weather permitting) perfect for s’mores, a comfortable patio area for your morning coffee or tea, and plenty of yard space protected by a privacy fence. We live on the property with our child, chickens & farm cats. No animals are allowed for this reason. We also take our quiet hours very seriously - this is a peaceful retreat, not a place for parties or gatherings. Guest access The entire area within the privacy fence is yours to use! This includes the yard space, patio, and fire pit area. There is a private driveway and parking area beside & in front of the camper - two cars maximum. We want our guests to be comfortable & are committed to providing privacy. This property is also our home, so please be respectful of our space. Other things to note Our family & animals live on the property. We have worked very hard to create a private, peaceful environment for everyone to enjoy. Please keep this in mind & respect our rules. No pets - no exceptions. Two person MAXIMUM. Again, this is a small space. Quiet hours are taken very seriously. No loud music, parties, gatherings, or visitors. We want our guests to use and enjoy the fire pit. No large fires, burning of trash, or fires left unattended. If these rules are not followed, we will kindly ask you to leave without a refund.
