Árblik-Home away from home

Árblik is a very well regarded house in Seyðisfjörður. Built nearly 100 years ago it is full of local history. The house is quiet, bright and has a atmosphere. The house started life as a bookbinders for the East coast. It has since been a local shop, a fisherman's net workshop and even a refuge for British soldiers during WWII. All rooms are clean, tidy, well presented and comfortable. All of Seyðisfjörður´s amenities are very close by. The space The bedrooms have the option of either a double bed or two singles. The first floor has a apartment with two bedrooms. A large bedroom and small bedroom. Kitchen with microwave/refrigerator/coffee maker/ toaster / water boiler and a living room. A toilet and shower. There is washing machine and dryer. The internet connection is fast, good and free. We travel a lot all over the world and there are some things we think are important in terms of accommodation. A good bed and a fast internet connection are a must. We offer a serene and comfortable atmosphere to relax in after your busy day. Our goal is to accommodate our guests as we would like to be accommodated ourselves. We are sure you will feel relaxed and comfortable in our house. In Iceland we talk about “the house spirit” and this house truly has a good soul and a spirit that will make you feel welcome Guest access Towels and bed linen are provided for and washing and drying is included. Guests have access to a bathroom/shower beside their room and have coffee or tea on the house. Other things to note We live on the top floor with our cat and dog
