Vacation home "the Bird's Nest" with Jacuzzi

Welcome to "the Bird's Nest". Relax and unwind in this stylish guest house. At the back of our farmhouse, in a quiet village in Groningen: on the border with Friesland and Drenthe. Your cottage has its own entrance, garden, parking lot, raised terrace with fire pit, and canopy and lovely relaxing chairs. Wherever you sit, you always have a beautiful view of nature. In the canopy is the Jacuzzi that you can optionally rent privately. The space You enter the living room with kitchen. This is one room. Equipped with good pans and inventory, coffee maker (quick filter), combi microwave/oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment. The television has a Chromecast and soundbar. Downstairs is also the bathroom with toilet, a lovely spacious shower cabin with rain shower and hand shower. There is also a washing machine here. The sleeping loft is accessible by a narrow but sturdy staircase with a spacious (1.60m) comfortable bed with double duvet. Please note: only in the middle of the attic you can stand upright, so some flexibility is a plus to nestle nicely in your bed. From your bed, you have views over the countryside. The cottage is electrically heated, has a fireplace in the living room. For the hot days, there is air conditioning. Taking good care of yourself and relaxing is a given here! Wake up with the whistling of the birds and enjoy your breakfast inside in front of the large sliding door or in one of the beautiful spots in the garden, while there is a good chance that you will see deer, hares and storks passing by. Includes bed, bath and kitchen linens. Starter package coffee, tea, sugar, herbs. Your bed is beautifully made and bathrobes are ready for you and there is shampoo, conditioner and body wash. So the enjoyment can start right away upon arrival! Guest access From the parking lot, you walk along a path to your cottage. (100m) On the grounds, there is another vacation cottage: "guest house -the Barn- with Jacuzzi", this is for 1-4 people: (see our other listing) the parking lot and the walkway are shared, otherwise you have everything private. You can also rent both cottages for up to 6 people. Other things to note In the canopy is the jacuzzi, which you can optionally rent privately. This is allowed for 1 day or all days of your stay. Cost: €30,= per day. This can be settled in cash upon arrival. On the day of departure, the jacuzzi cannot be used. Please read the hygiene rules upon arrival. Our cottages are especially for those looking for peace and relaxation: loud music, sound and parties are not allowed. Aurora Hoeve is in an area without street lights, making it a dark sky area. With clear weather, when it is dark, you have a beautiful view of the twinkling stars and the beautiful skies. We have even observed the Aurora Borealis this year! Up to 2 people. 1 baby can: if you bring your own bed. Due to the stairs, elevated terrace and the sleeping loft, we find it less suitable for people with walking difficulties. It is not allowed to charge electric cars on the premises. A charging station in the village is a 3-minute drive away.
