Designated a local and National Historic Landmark, the Castle Marne has been a part of the story of the Denver community for generations, and we’d love to now be a part of yours, whether for one night, an extended stay, or many visits to come. Inside you'll find modern touches including aroma therapy vitamin C shower heads with modern tile and bathrooms. A well appointed kitchen, wifi, etc. Outside you'll find flowers of all sorts with blooms from early spring to late fall. There are patios on 3 sides of the castle open for use and animals on site. We currently have 4 ducks and a dog. The ducks have a coop and private area onsite, but you'll find them regularly roaming the outer yards and acting as natural pest control. Our dog Lucy is timid, but very friendly, she usually sticks close to the hosts and if you don't enjoy dogs please let us know. Guest access The castle has multiple suites so there is a quite a lot of shared space. Areas we share: - The gardens and patio on the grounds. Fire-pit on the south patio. Swing on the front porch. Bench on the north side. - Kitchen. On the first floor is the primary kitchen. Feel free to use this as you need. Our rule is cleanup. Areas We Don't share: - Private Suite spaces. Please be respectful of other guests - We have a massage therapist on-site that uses a room on the 2nd floor. Please don't use this space unless you have an appt set with the therapist. - Back Patio. There is a space between the castle and the carriage house, this is the private patio for the host family. It is also where the ducks have a more quiet private time.
