Airor is a modern architect designed cottage with spectacular views of the sea (sound of Sleat), and the Knoydart peninsula. It was built in 2015 with functional design, cosiness and environmental impact in mind. It is located in the stunning 'Garden of Skye', on the road from Armadale to Broadford. Comfortable modern interior with a wood burning stove and spectacular views from both bedrooms. Managed on my behalf by a local housekeeper (Sat-Sat rentals only). 4.9/5 rating on local site The space Open plan living / dining kitchen space with sliding doors leading onto a veranda that faces the sea. Wood burning stove for cosy winter stays, and the facility to open the sliding doors in good weather and enjoy the open views, which span over 180 degrees. Two double bedrooms, both facing the sea. One double, one king. Built in wardrobes. Well appointed shower room with double shower cubicle and quality Porcelanosa fittings. Separate utility cupboard with washing machine, tumble dryer*. *this house has been planned by people from Skye, so we know what you need! There is ramp access to the front door and the property is on one level. The house sits in its own grounds with a front garden laid to lawn, and a steep rocky cliff to the rear. There is adequate parking for at least 4 cars. Guest access The whole house is available for guests. There is a shed containing gardening equipment etc which is not accessible. Other things to note This property is registered with Highland council for short term letting. Our license number is: HI-30341-F, effective Oct 2023- Oct 2028.
